Shep­herd of the Hills Church 527 Hoff­mansville Road, Bechtelsville. The an­nual Scout­ing for Food drive will take place from Nov. 11 to Nov. 18. Food will also be col­lected for the Sal­va­tion Army Thanks­giv­ing boxes Nov. 5 to Nov. 15. The Prime Timers Min­istry will hold a plan­ning meet­ing on Tues­day, Nov. 14 at 1:00 p.m. Boy Scouts meet Mon­day at 7:00 p.m. Cub Scouts meet Thurs­day at 7:00 p.m. AA groups meet at the church on Wed­nes­days at 8:00 p.m., Thurs­days at 12:15 p.m. and Satur­days at 10:00 a.m. Al Anon meets in the church on Tues­days at 8:00 p.m.

Sa­mar­i­tan’s Purse-We are col­lect­ing “filled shoe boxes” for chil­dren, as a Christ­mas Pro­ject. Trin­ity is once again par­tic­i­pat­ing in the Christ­mas Shar­ing for Top­ton, a list of items needed is posted on the bul­letin board in the Parish Hall. Boy Scout Troop 511 will spon­sor Hoagie Sales Novem­ber thru May. No hoa­gies in De­cem­ber. The sales will be the 3rd Tues­day of the month. Or­ders will have to be placed on the 2nd Tues­day of the month. The price is $4.00 each. There is ham, tur­key, Ital­ian or cheese—let­tuce, onion,tomato, sides hot pep­pers or sweet pep­pers, Ital­ian or mayo pack­ets. Boy­er­town Men­non­ite Church 275 Mill St., Boy­er­town Pas­tor Nelson Shenk Ev­ery Sun­day morn­ing we have Sun­day School classes for all ages from 9-10 a.m., and wor­ship at 10 o’clock. St. Luke Lutheran Church 35 Wil­son Ave. Gilbertsville On Sun­day morn­ing the Adult Sun­day School Class will meet at 8:30 a.m. Come join in the rich, and some­times lively, dis­cus­sions! Dur­ing the ser­vice, a spe­cial Litany of Courage and Peace will be used in honor of and ap­pre­ci­a­tion for vet­er­ans. Com­mu­nion will be cel­e­brated. The Sr. Choir will sing, “Re­joice, All Ye Be­liev­ers,” which is a Swedish Folk Melody. The Women’s Bi­ble Study will be held at noon. News­let­ter ar­ti­cles for the De­cem­ber news­let­ter are due in the church of­fice on Mon­day. The Cherub Choir will re­hearse on Tues­day at 6:30 p.m. and the Wor­ship and Mu­sic Com­mit­tee will meet at 7 p.m. Wed­nes­day is the monthly Sr. Break­fast at Sav­ille’s Diner. Come out and join this lively group at 8:00, a.m. for fun, food, and fel­low­ship!
