Nov. 11 Liv­ing Gifts Hol­i­day Fair: From Satur­day 9-3 p.m. and Sun­day, Nov. 12, from 8.30 a.m. - 12 Noon. Hu­man­i­tar­ian gifts sold. All prof­its ben­e­fit peo­ple in need, both lo­cally and world-wide. Lunch served on Satur­day. New Hanover Lutheran Church, 2941 Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville. 610-326-1335. To be fea­tured: Ten Thou­sand Vil­lages, An­i­mal House Pro­ject, Wom­ens Cen­ter, and Ken­crest.

Christ­mas Bazaar: The St. Fran­cis Academy an­nual bazaar will be held from 8-2 at the school lo­cated at Sev­enth and Pine Streets in Bally. The bazaar will fea­ture home­made cook­ies, cut outs, choco­late chip, oat­meal and peanut but­ter. There will also be home­made crafts. A Julie Lon­gacre orig­i­nal print will be the grand of the raf­fle. There will be other raf­fles avail­able and a chance to buy 275th an­niver­sary ap­parel. There will also be food, Bally burg­ers, soup, and hot tur­key sand­wiches. There will be crafts for the chil­dren and the Santa shop. Santa will also make an ap­pear­ance.

Nov. 16

Li­ons Club: The Boy­er­town Li­ons Club will hold their din­ner meet­ing at the Friend­ship Hook & Lad­der Co., S. Read­ing Ave & War­wick St., Boy­er­town at 6:30 pm. Amity Lioness will be join­ing us. The pro­gram will be on the April 2017 trip to Chicago for the In­ter­na­tional Con­ven­tion.

Nov. 18

Hol­i­day Bazaar: To be held from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. at Friedens UCC, 337 Main Street, Oley. Shoofly and fruit pies, AP cakes, cook­ies,

soups, gift snacks, crafts, flea mar­ket, and gift bas­ket raf­fle. A lunch of soups, tur­key and beef bar­be­cues, hot dogs, and hoa­gies will be avail­able. Hol­i­day Bazaar and Bake Sale: To be held 9-2 p.m. at Cal­vary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100, Barto. Fea­tur­ing many lo­cal crafters, baked goods, cook­ies, flea mar­ket and lunch. Table space is avail­able by con­tact­ing Eileen Har­ing at 610-754-6046. Church num­ber is 610-652-5023.

Huff’s Church Hoe Down: To be held at 540 Con­rad Rd., Al­bur­tis, Here­ford Town­ship, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Paul Adam, call­ing with the Days of Old Band play­ing. No charge with free drinks and snacks. In­vite friends and fam­ily and mem­bers of the com­mu­nity for a good, fun crowd.

Thanks­giv­ing Eve ser­vice: To be­gin at 7 p.m. at Bally Men­non­ite Church, Route 100, Bally, to­gether with mem­bers from: Cal­vary UCC in Barto, Christ Lutheran in Niantic, Most Blessed Sacra­ment in Bally, St. Paul’s Lutheran in Sas­samansville, and Trin­ity Lutheran in Bechtelsville. We will gather to­gether to of­fer our grat­i­tude to God for His many bless­ings in our lives. There will be light re­fresh­ments af­ter the ser­vice.
