‘Me and My Gal’ roller skating party

Girl Scouts had a fun afternoon out on Sunday, May 6, at Pheasantland. The Boyertown Service Unit of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania held a Me and My Gal roller skating party. There were 76 people who attended the event. It was all smiles for the Girl Scouts as they spent valuable time with a special woman in their life — mom, grandmom, aunt, etc.

The event was also a service project, in that each participant brought along an item to make birthday bags for Boyertown Multiservice. Birthday bags provide everything needed to throw a party: cake mix, icing, drink mix, paper goods, candle and other goodies.
