BOYERTOWN 6, UP­PER ME­RION 0 » Six dif­fer­ent play­ers reg­is­tered goals for the Bears in a PAC di­vi­sional cross­over game against the Vik­ings.

Emma El­well, Sa­man­tha Gof­fice, Raeanne King, Mor­gan Kline, Sierra Lan­dis and Bria Smith all scored for Boyertown while Mikayla Moyer and Aimee Toscano were each cred­ited with an as­sist. Macken­zie Fatzinger and Cas­sidy Lan­dis com­bined for four saves in the shutout. SPRING-FORD 1, BOYERTOWN

0» Hope Flane­gin, as­sisted by Ella Curry, scored the game’s lone goal in SpringFord’s PAC Lib­erty vic­tory over Boyertown. Ri­ley Wal­lace had the shutout for the Rams while Boyertown coun­ter­part Mad­die Gal­lagher was ex­cel­lent in keep­ing Spring-Ford to a sin­gle score.

Boys soccer

Scor­ing in each half Thurs­day, the SpringFord boys soccer team dis­patched Boyertown, 2-0, in their Pi­o­neer Ath­letic Con­fer­ence Lib­erty Di­vi­sion matchup.

Spring-Ford scored first in the 18th minute af­ter Gabe Locke worked a ball into Brett Gu­lati, who went far post for a 1-0 lead. The Rams scored again when Gu­lati played a cross to a streak­ing Colin Trainor, who headed home a curv­ing goal in the top left cor­ner. Ray For­te­buono (four saves) and the Rams de­fense kept a clean sheet for the fourth game in a row. BOYERTOWN 3, DANIEL

the Bears’ non-con­fer­ence win over the Blaz­ers.

0» Kate Crist fig­ured in on three goals dur­ing the Ram’s win over the Bears in a Pi­o­neer Ath­letic Con­fer­ence Lib­erty Di­vi­sion matchup.

Crist scored twice and added an as­sist on Alexa Collins’ game-open­ing score. Shan­non Kennedy, Mac Maloney and Olivia Wil­son all added scored for Spring-Ford while MaryPat McKenna and An­gelina Pin­ciotti each had as­sists. Ash­ley Della Guardia made five saves in the shutout while Boyertown keeper Laura Wi­gard fin­ished with 13. BOYERTOWN 10, UP­PER ME­RION 0 » Trin Smith net­ted a hat trick while Laura Wi­gand made seven saves to pre­serve the shutout in the Bears’ win over the Vik­ings in cross-di­vi­sional PAC play.

Alyssa Vu, (as­sist), Kelsi McDe­vitt, Remi Lloyd, Lau­ren Eves (as­sist), Lind­say Flack (as­sist), Macken­zie Baro and Alex Mor­gan all notched goals for Boyertown in the win.

UP­PER PERKIOMEN 208, BOYERTOWN 211 » Zach Rozan­ski carded a match-low 39 to lead the Tribe to a PAC win over the Bears at Ma­coby Run (Par 36).

Brett Miller fol­lowed with a 40 while Ma­cauley Swenk and Deion Dop­erak each fin­ished at 42 be­fore Zach Gehman rounded out the score­card with a 45. Zach Lit­tle paced Boyertown with a 40 while John En­gle (41) and Brad Fen­ster­maker shot a 42.

PERKIOMEN VAL­LEY 211, BOYERTOWN 214 » Tori Bruno’s round-best 47 was the dif­fer­ence in the Vik­ings’ PAC win over the Bears at Twin Ponds G.C. (Par 35).

Julie Neild carded a 51 while Alexa Hansen (56) and Rea­gan Parks (57) rounded out the score­card for Perk Val­ley. Emma Hauser and Emily Burger each carded a 51 for Boyertown while Kylie Wood fired a 52. DOWNINGTOWN EAST 196,

BOYERTOWN 257 » The Cougars turned in the day’s five low­est scores to roll up a PAC win over the Bears at Whit­ford C.C.

Ava O’Sul­li­van and Lid­die McCook shot 48s for East to share low-score hon­ors. Boyertown’s leader was Emily Burger at 59.

Girls volleyball

BOONE 0 » The Bears won this non-league pair­ing by set scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-16.

Boyertown (6-1) was led by Emma Lud­wig (six kills, eight as­sists, three aces). Ju­lia Smith had nine digs and Tay­lor Jones added four as­sists, three digs and three kills. UP­PER ME­RION 3, BOYERTOWN 1 » The Vik­ings won their PAC match with the Bears, ral­ly­ing from an open­ing-set loss 26-24. UM’s set vic­to­ries were by scores of 25-11, 25-20 and 25-15.

For the Bears (2-1, 6-2), Tay­lor Jones had 10 kills, four aces and nine as­sists; Ju­lia Smith added nine digs and two as­sists; Emily Wolfe had nine kills, six digs, four aces and two blocks; and Emma Lud­wig chipped in with 11 digs, 11 as­sists, two kills and two aces.
