Our 8:30 a.m. Bible Study will be held Sunday. We will meet to explore the lectionary readings of the day. Join us at 9:30a.m. on Sunday for worship. Sunday is Veterans Day, and we will observe it during the service. Communion will be celebrated. The Sr. Choir will sing, “The Mansions of the Lord,” by Wallace/ Glennie-Smith. The handbell choir will ring, “Simple Gifts,” by McChesney. JAM (Jesus and Me) class – The participants will sit with their families in church until after “Time for the Children.” Then, they will go to JAM Class, and return for a blessing or communion. Those interested will meet for Rock Painting in Memorial Hall following worship! The event is sponsored by the Evangelism Team of St. Luke! Women’s Bible Study will meet Sunday at noon at the home of Leslie Romasco. Catechism will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, Pottstown. The Endowment Committee will meet Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. The Senior Breakfast Group will meet Wednesday at 8 a.m. at Saville’s. Also, on Wednesday, the Community Clothing Rack is open from 1 to 4 p.m. for distribution. Handbell Choir will rehearse on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The Sr. Choir will rehearse Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. From Thursday until Saturday, St. Luke’s upstairs will be transformed into our annual Craft Show venue! Please join in the fun on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for local crafters, homemade soups, food, fun, fellowship and Grandma’s Attic.

Worship with us on 25th Sunday after Pentecost on Nov. 11 at our one worship service at 9 a.m. Bridge Pastor, Pr. David Penman, will be leading the congregation in the worship service, preach the morning sermon, as well as present the Children’s Sermon. The Blessing of the Prayer Shawls and Quilts will be held during the service. Confirmation will be held at 9 a.m. in room I. Those ministering at the 9 a.m. service are Acolyte; Jonathan Lewis, Lector; Kelly Shade, and Greeters/Ushers; Kelly and Catherine Shade. Immediately following the worship service, the semi-annual Congregational Meeting will be held to vote on the 2019 Council, approve the 2019 Budget as well as vote on the service time change. If you are a voting member, please plan on attending to cast your vote. On Nov. 13, the December Niantic News articles are due into the church office and then at 7:30 p.m. that evening, the Finance committee will meet in room B. There will be no CLC Choirs on Nov. 14, but those who want to participate in the Joint Thanksgiving Eve Choir please come to Trinity Lutheran, Bechtelsville at 7 p.m. for rehearsal. Members will join Calvary UCC members as well as Bally Mennonite and the surrounding community for a Keystone-Miller Blood Drive on Nov. 15 from 2:30 – 7:30 p.m. Later that evening at 6:30 p.m., the Junior/ Cadette Girl Scout troop will meet in the social hall.
