LIVING HISTORY – “Everything Wood” is the theme of the Tonawanda Reservation Historical Society’s annual exhibit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Tonawanda Indian Community House, 372 Bloomingdale Road, Akron.
The Lancaster New York Historical Society will present Civil War Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Little Red School House Museum, William Street and Bowen Road, Lancaster, with re-enactors in period costumes.
Buffalo’s historic fireboat, the E.M. Cotter, will have an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at its dock at 155 Ohio St. at Michigan Avenue.
BORN TO SHOP – Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8113, 299 Leydecker Road, West Seneca, will hold its fall flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Windom Community Church, 3766 Abbott Road, Orchard Park, will hold a Fall Bazaar from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
North Presbyterian Church, 168 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda, will host its annual theme basket auction Saturday. Doors open at noon, drawings start at 2 p.m. Admission is $5.
Blessed Sacrament Church, 263 Claremont Ave., Town of Tonawanda, will hold a Christmas Craft Fair from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
MENUS – The Altar and Rosary Society of Queen of Angels Church, 144 Warsaw St., Lackawanna, will hold a Fall Festival from noon to 4 p.m., featuring a Wendel’s chicken dinner for $11.
Cleveland Hill United Methodist Church, 546 Eggert Road, will serve a pulled pork dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Dinners are $9, $7 for kids under 12.
The Church of the Annunciation, 7580 Clinton St., Elma, offers a German Pot Luck Dinner from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday with music by the Genesee Valley Band. Tickets are $10 adults, children free.
St. Casimir’s Church, 1833 Clinton St., will hold a pork chop dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Social Center. Dinners are $15.
Holy Cross Church will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday in the School Hall, Niagara and Maryland streets. Dinners are $12 pre-sale, $13 at the door, $5 for kids 10 and under.
Deerhurst Presbyterian Church, 257 Deerhurst Park Blvd., Town of Tonawanda, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Dinners are $9, $5 for kids 8 and under .
