Cheektowaga Garden Club
will meet at 6:45 p.m. Monday in the Cleveland Hill faculty dining room on Mapleview Road, Cheektowaga. Use the playground entrance. Mark Carra, of Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, will present “Hummingbirds – Their Behavior and How to Attract Them.” Guests and new members welcome.
Smallwood Garden Club
will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in Williamsville United Methodist Church, 5681 Main St., Williamsville. Scott Russo will present “Miniature Forests – the Art of Bonsai.”

Western New York Rose Society
will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. Stephens-Bethlehem United Church of Christ, 750 Wehrle Drive, Amherst. Ron Callea, horticulture instructor at McKinley High School, will present “Winterizing Your Garden and Preparing for Next Year.”
Judges Council of Eighth District of Federated Garden Clubs of New York State will meet at 10
a.m. Thursday in Brighton Community Church, 1225 Brighton Road, Town of Tonawanda. Plans will be discussed by members who will be presenting new floral designs in a program at the Eighth District fall meeting and luncheon Oct. 26.
Garden Club of the Tonawandas
will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Tonawanda City Hall community room, 200 Niagara St. Nancy Kalieta, president of the Hamburg House and Garden Club and second assistant director for District Eight, will present “The Victorian Language of Flowers.” Public welcome.
Cinderella Isle Garden Club

will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Village on North Forest Road, Williamsville. Carole Melnik, florist and owner of A Snail’s Place, will present “Fun With Fruit,” a demonstration on how to design centerpieces using fruit, vegetables and flowers. All welcome.
