Cheek­towaga Gar­den Club

will meet at 6:45 p.m. Mon­day in the Cleve­land Hill fac­ulty din­ing room on Maple­view Road, Cheek­towaga. Use the play­ground en­trance. Mark Carra, of Beaver Meadow Audubon Cen­ter, will present “Hum­ming­birds – Their Be­hav­ior and How to At­tract Them.” Guests and new mem­bers wel­come.

Small­wood Gar­den Club

will meet at 7 p.m. Mon­day in Wil­liamsville United Methodist Church, 5681 Main St., Wil­liamsville. Scott Russo will present “Minia­ture Forests – the Art of Bon­sai.”

will meet at 7 p.m. Wed­nes­day in St. Stephens-Beth­le­hem United Church of Christ, 750 Wehrle Drive, Amherst. Ron Cal­lea, hor­ti­cul­ture in­struc­tor at McKin­ley High School, will present “Win­ter­iz­ing Your Gar­den and Pre­par­ing for Next Year.”

Judges Coun­cil of Eighth District of Fed­er­ated Gar­den Clubs of New York State will meet at 10

a.m. Thurs­day in Brighton Com­mu­nity Church, 1225 Brighton Road, Town of Ton­awanda. Plans will be dis­cussed by mem­bers who will be pre­sent­ing new flo­ral de­signs in a pro­gram at the Eighth District fall meet­ing and lun­cheon Oct. 26.

Gar­den Club of the Ton­awan­das

will meet at 7 p.m. Thurs­day in the Ton­awanda City Hall com­mu­nity room, 200 Ni­a­gara St. Nancy Kalieta, pres­i­dent of the Ham­burg House and Gar­den Club and sec­ond as­sis­tant di­rec­tor for District Eight, will present “The Vic­to­rian Lan­guage of Flow­ers.” Pub­lic wel­come.

Cin­derella Isle Gar­den Club

For­est Stream Gar­den Club

will meet at 7 p.m. Thurs­day at the Pres­by­te­rian Vil­lage on North For­est Road, Wil­liamsville. Ca­role Mel­nik, florist and owner of A Snail’s Place, will present “Fun With Fruit,” a demon­stra­tion on how to de­sign cen­ter­pieces us­ing fruit, veg­eta­bles and flow­ers. All wel­come.
