City de­lays start of win­ter park­ing rules on bus routes

Win­ter park­ing rules on bus routes in Buf­falo won’t go into ef­fect at least un­til Nov. 22, the city an­nounced Tues­day.

The reg­u­la­tions were slated to go into ef­fect at 1:30 a.m. Wed­nes­day, but are be­ing de­layed based on weather fore­casts, a city spokesman said.

Win­ter park­ing re­stric­tions on bus routes are in ef­fect from 1:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. un­til April 1.

The en­force­ment of win­ter park­ing rules has been de­layed un­til Nov. 22 in the Town of Ton­awanda and un­til Dec. 1 in the Town of Cheek­towaga and the Vil­lage of Ken­more.

They go into ef­fect today in Depew and West Seneca.

Win­ter park­ing rules went into ef­fect Nov. 1 in Amherst, the Town of Ham­burg and the Vil­lage of Ham­burg. They’re also al­ready in ef­fect in the City of Ton­awanda.
