Buf­falo woman charged in West Side knife at­tack

A 21-year-old Buf­falo woman was ac­cused of stab­bing a woman a half-dozen times with a 12-inch kitchen knife on Mon­day night, ac­cord­ing to a Buf­falo po­lice re­port.

Javonda A. Seals, of 15th Street, was ar­rested just af­ter 10 p.m. on the first block of 15th, near Connecticut Street, ac­cord­ing to the re­port. Seals is also ac­cused of try­ing to hit the vic­tim in the head with a rolling pin.

The vic­tim, an­other 21-year-old Buf­falo woman, was taken to Erie County Med­i­cal Cen­ter with what were de­scribed as non-lifethreat­en­ing in­juries.

Seals was charged with sec­ond-de­gree as­sault, at­tempted sec­ond-de­gree as­sault and fourth-de­gree crim­i­nal pos­ses­sion of a weapon, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.
