Buffalo woman charged in West Side knife attack
A 21-year-old Buffalo woman was accused of stabbing a woman a half-dozen times with a 12-inch kitchen knife on Monday night, according to a Buffalo police report.
Javonda A. Seals, of 15th Street, was arrested just after 10 p.m. on the first block of 15th, near Connecticut Street, according to the report. Seals is also accused of trying to hit the victim in the head with a rolling pin.
The victim, another 21-year-old Buffalo woman, was taken to Erie County Medical Center with what were described as non-lifethreatening injuries.
Seals was charged with second-degree assault, attempted second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
