Striegel + Baddour announces Baddour receives promotion
Striegel + Baddour, formerly known as Striegel + Buchheister, announces the promotion of Andrea Baddour to partner in the firm, alongside Lyn Striegel, according to a press release. The firm’s office location has moved to North Beach, with a view of the Chesapeake Bay, where they are now serving clients.
Baddour has been practicing law for more than 15 years, focusing on trusts and estates, civil litigation and appeals. She serves as board attorney for the Calvert County Board of Elections and was the former law clerk to Judge Marjorie L. Clagett of the Circuit Court for Calvert County, and an intern at the Office of the County Attorney, Anne Arundel County. Baddour cares greatly for her local community and is active as a Girl Scout troop leader, according to the release.

Striegel, the founder, has been in practice for more than 35 years as a corporate and estate planning attorney. With experience in Washington, D.C., New York and Philadelphia, her background includes work for major U.S. law firms such as Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher & Flom (the highest-ranking corporate law firm in the United States for the past fifteen years), major financial institutions such as Bank of America and SEI Investments, and major corporations such as Sallie Mae.
Striegel is also an accomplished writer and is very involved in the local community, according to the release.
