Striegel + Baddour, formerly known as Striegel + Buchheister, announces the promotion of Andrea Baddour to partner in the firm, alongside Lyn Striegel, according to a press release. The firm’s office location has moved to North Beach, with a view of the Chesapeake Bay, where they are now serving clients.

Baddour has been practicing law for more than 15 years, focusing on trusts and estates, civil litigation and appeals. She serves as board attorney for the Calvert County Board of Elections and was the former law clerk to Judge Marjorie L. Clagett of the Circuit Court for Calvert County, and an intern at the Office of the County Attorney, Anne Arundel County. Baddour cares greatly for her local community and is active as a Girl Scout troop leader, according to the release.

“I cannot be more pleased to become partner at Striegel + Baddour. Lyn has been a mentor and I admire her dedication to her clients. Our new location will help better serve our community. In addition to the serenity offered by the view of the Chesapeake Bay, the Southern Maryland community is a wonderful place to practice law. I am both humbled and honored to become partner of Striegel + Baddour,” Baddour said in the release.

Striegel + Baddour fo- cuses on estate and business planning. Striegel and Baddour pride themselves on taking the time to get to know each of their clients to help them fully understand the legal process, so they are confident when making important life decisions. Creating customized solutions for their clients is essential, as Striegel and Baddour believe that there is no such thing as a “one size fits all” approach. With combined experience of more than 50 years, Striegel + Baddour is focused on providing all clients with extraordinary service and customized, top-quality legal solutions, according to the release.

“I am proud to be Andrea’s partner at Striegel + Baddour and welcome her into the firm. She has a great legal mind and is an attorney with impeccable personal integrity. Her diligence, coupled with her concern for our clients, ensures that the firm will continue and enhance its already excellent reputation. Our new offices at 8906 Bay Avenue in North Beach offer more space and a waterfront conference room view for our clients. With the help of Pam Desko, our CPA in charge of trust funding accounting, we are all looking forward to the future,” Striegel said in the release.

Striegel, the founder, has been in practice for more than 35 years as a corporate and estate planning attorney. With experience in Washington, D.C., New York and Philadelphia, her background includes work for major U.S. law firms such as Skadden, Arps, Slate Meagher & Flom (the highest-ranking corporate law firm in the United States for the past fifteen years), major financial institutions such as Bank of America and SEI Investments, and major corporations such as Sallie Mae.

Striegel is also an accomplished writer and is very involved in the local community, according to the release.
