Theresa Ann Sh­e­skin

Theresa “Terri” Ann Sh­e­skin of Prince Fred­er­ick, MD, passed away peace­fully on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 27, 2018, at the age of 59.

Terri was born on Nov. 17, 1958, in Chev­erly, MD, to Bet­tie M. (Hod­kin­son) and to the late James McGee. She was a grad­u­ate of North­ern High, Calvert County, in 1975. On May 21, 1995, she grad­u­ated from Col­lege of South­ern Mary­land with an As­so­ciate’s de­gree in Com­puter Sci­ence.

Terri was the beloved wife of Robert “Bob” Sh­e­skin and the lov­ing mother of Sandi Early, hus­band Chuck; Paul Steb­bing, wife Erica; Ryan Steb­bing, wife Car­lee; Shan­non Sh­e­skin; Ja­son Sh­e­skin, wife Tif­fany; and Heather Sh­e­skin. She was the de­voted “Nanny” of Emily, Chase, Gracee, Con­nor, Shelby, Chris, Tay­lor, Sha­nia, Ricky, Sean, Ken­dra, Kyle, Kaylee, Keira, A.J; and the great grand­mother of Karsyn. She was also sur­vived by her mother, Bet­tie McGee; one sis­ter, Sharon Ros­ton, hus­band Tom; nieces and neph­ews: Saman­tha, Tommy, Joe (wife Jill); aunts and un­cles: Lor­raine “Raine”, hus­band Mike; Bill, wife Barbara; and Don, wife Dorothy. She will be missed by her faith­ful com­pan­ion – “Ri­ley”, her sweet dog.

She was a very lov­ing, car­ing per­son who al­ways put ev­ery­one’s needs be­fore her own. Aside from spend­ing time with fam­ily, her hob­bies in­cluded mak­ing cus­tom­ized cards filled with stick­ers and pic­tures, cook­ing her fa­mous car­rot cake, old TV shows, the Washington Red­skins and col­lect­ing light­house mem­o­ra­bilia.

Terri had a very special bond and close­ness with her mother, Sharon; her sis­ter; and her late grand­mother, Edna May Hod­kin­son. They spent nu­mer­ous hours to­gether shop­ping, go­ing to movies or lunches. They loved be­ing to­gether, talk­ing daily, shar­ing lots of laugh­ter and sto­ries.

Her bright smile and lov­ing heart will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Fam­ily in­vites friends to Lee Fu­neral Home Calvert, 8200 Jen­nifer Lane, Owings, MD 20736, on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 3, from 1 p.m. un­til start of Me­mo­rial Ser­vices at 3 p.m. In­ter­ment will be pri­vate.
