Suzette Suzy Hunt Tarvin Kee­ton, 58, Chicka­mauga

Suzette Suzy Hunt Tarvin Kee­ton age 58, of Chicka­mauga, Ge­or­gia passed away on Tues­day Fe­bru­ary 28, 2017. She was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Ge­or­gia to the late Frank DeFor­rest Tarvin and Vir­ginia Louise Me­maw Nee­ley Tarvin. She was a life­long res­i­dent of Chicka­mauga and loved be­ing a care­giver to her fam­ily and friends. She was of the Bap­tist faith. Along with her par­ents, she is pre­ceded in death by her sis­ter: Deb­bie Cul­ber­son, brother: Frankie Tarvin, nephew: Eric Cul­ber­son, broth­erin-law: Tony Kee­ton. She is sur­vived by her chil­dren: Jada Kee­ton, son: Scott Kee­ton, their fa­ther: Stan­ley Kee­ton all of Chicka­mauga, GA, sis­ters: Carolyn Con­ners of Cleve­land, TN, Teresa Buddy Turner, Rocky Tarvin both of Chicka­mauga, GA, grand­chil­dren: Macee, Nee­ley Paige, Austin and Brailee Kee­ton, sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. A me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held Satur­day March 4, 2017 at 4:00 pm in the chapel. In lieu of flow­ers, the fam­ily re­quest do­na­tions be made to the fu­neral home. Ar­range­ments by W.L. Wal­ter Ernest Moore, 59, Look­out Moun­tain

Wal­ter Ernest Moore, 59 of Look­out Moun­tain, Ge­or­gia passed away on Wed­nes­day, March 1, 2017. He was a life­long res­i­dent of the Chat­tanooga & North Ge­or­gia ar­eas and was a mem­ber of Look­out Moun­tain Mis­sion­ary Bap­tist Church. He re­tired from Lo­cal Union #43 in 2016 af­ter more than 40 years of ser­vice as a Pip­efit­ter and en­joyed spend­ing time play­ing golf. He was pre­ceded in death by his fa­ther, Henry Moore.

Sur­vivors in­clude his mother, Wil­lene Deal Moore; son, Colton Wal­ter Moore; sib­lings, Gary & An­gel Moore and Deb­o­rah Veal and Don Uhls all of Look­out Moun­tain, GA; nephew, Ja­son & Cia Lind­sey of Rainsville, AL; 2 great nieces and nu­mer­ous ex­tended fam­ily & friends.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held at 11:00 a.m. Satur­day, March 4, 2017 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pas­tor Ce­cil Gravitt of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial will fol­low in the Mount Pleas­ant Ceme­tery. Dorothy Sch­mitt Work­man, 88, East Ridge, Tenn.

Dorothy Sch­mitt Work­man, 88 of East Ridge, went home to be with her Lord and Sav­ior on Tues­day, Fe­bru­ary 28, 2017. She was a life­long res­i­dent of the Chat­tanooga area and was a mem­ber of Path­way Bap­tist Church. She was a mem­ber of The East­ern Star and was em­ployed with Stan­dard-Coosa Thatcher for more than 25 years and then be­came the Owner & Op­er­a­tor of her own Salon. She was a lov­ing wife, mother, grand­mother and great grand­mother who will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents, Charles & Hen­ri­etta Sch­mitt; hus­band, Ray­mond Ed­win Work­man; sis­ters, Betty Atkins and JoEtta Har­ris and spe­cial friend, Louise Will­hoit.

Sur­vivors in­clude her son & daugh­ter-in­law, David & Deb­bie Work­man of East Ridge, TN; broth­ers, Leon Sch­mitt of Rossville, GA, Charles “Chock” Sch­mitt of Soddy Daisy, TN and Franklin Sch­mitt of East Ridge, TN; 3 grand­chil­dren, Wendy Wil­liamsWeb­ster, Holly West and Jeff Work­man; 2 great grand­chil­dren, Gra­cie West and Maddy Wil­liams; nu­mer­ous nieces, neph­ews and ex­tended fam­ily & friends.

Pa­tri­cia “Pat” Mae Wright (Rid­ings), 60, Rossville

Pa­tri­cia “Pat” Mae Wright (Rid­ings), 60, for­merly of Chat­tanooga, TN died peace­fully in her sleep on Thurs­day March 2, 2017 at her home in Rossville, GA. Born May 31st, 1956 she at­tended Kirk­man High School where she was on the cheer lead­ing squad and loved play­ing soft­ball which she con­tin­ued to play on into adult­hood. She was of the Bap­tist faith and en­joyed singing and was al­ways putting oth­ers needs be­fore her own. Pat en­joyed the sim­ple things in life such as chat­ting on the phone and spend­ing time with her fam­ily and friends, es­pe­cially her daugh­ters and grand daugh­ters. She loved to buy jewelry and other things from Avon for friends and fam­ily. She also loved col­lect­ing but­ter­fly decor for her home.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents, Jackie Rid­ings Sr., and Mary Shearer (Moore); Grand­mother Lena Sul­li­van and sis­ter, Sally Cope.

Sur­vivors in­clude her daugh­ters & sons-in­law, Lisa (Chris) Win­ston of Rossville, GA., Kandy (James) John­son of Murfrees­boro, TN.; Grand­daugh­ters Skyla Hunter of Rossville, GA, and Mor­gan Hunter of Murfrees­boro , TN.; Broth­ers, Ron­nie (Diane) McConathy of Ring­gold, GA. Dickie (Brenda) McConathy of Fort Oglethorpe, GA. Wayne (Jody) McConathy of Ring­gold, GA. Jackie (Gail) Rid­ings of Rossville, GA; a host of Aunts, Un­cles, Cousins, Nieces and Neph­ews; a host of close friends she con­sid­ered sis­ters in­clud­ing a sis­ter-in-law from a for­mer mar­riage, Teena Kee (Mor­gan) of Rossville, GA. She was also known as “mom” or “nana” to sev­eral of her daugh­ters and grand­daugh­ters friends in­clud­ing Kim­berly Tal­ley, Ebony Up­shaw, Re­nee Par­rish, Terry Wil­son, and Tianna Gre­sham.
