Suzette Suzy Hunt Tarvin Keeton age 58, of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away on Tuesday February 28, 2017. She was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia to the late Frank DeForrest Tarvin and Virginia Louise Memaw Neeley Tarvin. She was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and loved being a caregiver to her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister: Debbie Culberson, brother: Frankie Tarvin, nephew: Eric Culberson, brotherin-law: Tony Keeton. She is survived by her children: Jada Keeton, son: Scott Keeton, their father: Stanley Keeton all of Chickamauga, GA, sisters: Carolyn Conners of Cleveland, TN, Teresa Buddy Turner, Rocky Tarvin both of Chickamauga, GA, grandchildren: Macee, Neeley Paige, Austin and Brailee Keeton, several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 4, 2017 at 4:00 pm in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the funeral home. Arrangements by W.L. Walter Ernest Moore, 59, Lookout Mountain
Walter Ernest Moore, 59 of Lookout Mountain, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga & North Georgia areas and was a member of Lookout Mountain Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from Local Union #43 in 2016 after more than 40 years of service as a Pipefitter and enjoyed spending time playing golf. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Moore.
Survivors include his mother, Willene Deal Moore; son, Colton Walter Moore; siblings, Gary & Angel Moore and Deborah Veal and Don Uhls all of Lookout Mountain, GA; nephew, Jason & Cia Lindsey of Rainsville, AL; 2 great nieces and numerous extended family & friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Cecil Gravitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Dorothy Schmitt Workman, 88, East Ridge, Tenn.
Dorothy Schmitt Workman, 88 of East Ridge, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was a member of Pathway Baptist Church. She was a member of The Eastern Star and was employed with Standard-Coosa Thatcher for more than 25 years and then became the Owner & Operator of her own Salon. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Henrietta Schmitt; husband, Raymond Edwin Workman; sisters, Betty Atkins and JoEtta Harris and special friend, Louise Willhoit.
Survivors include her son & daughter-inlaw, David & Debbie Workman of East Ridge, TN; brothers, Leon Schmitt of Rossville, GA, Charles “Chock” Schmitt of Soddy Daisy, TN and Franklin Schmitt of East Ridge, TN; 3 grandchildren, Wendy WilliamsWebster, Holly West and Jeff Workman; 2 great grandchildren, Gracie West and Maddy Williams; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.

Patricia “Pat” Mae Wright (Ridings), 60, Rossville
Patricia “Pat” Mae Wright (Ridings), 60, formerly of Chattanooga, TN died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday March 2, 2017 at her home in Rossville, GA. Born May 31st, 1956 she attended Kirkman High School where she was on the cheer leading squad and loved playing softball which she continued to play on into adulthood. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed singing and was always putting others needs before her own. Pat enjoyed the simple things in life such as chatting on the phone and spending time with her family and friends, especially her daughters and grand daughters. She loved to buy jewelry and other things from Avon for friends and family. She also loved collecting butterfly decor for her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackie Ridings Sr., and Mary Shearer (Moore); Grandmother Lena Sullivan and sister, Sally Cope.
Survivors include her daughters & sons-inlaw, Lisa (Chris) Winston of Rossville, GA., Kandy (James) Johnson of Murfreesboro, TN.; Granddaughters Skyla Hunter of Rossville, GA, and Morgan Hunter of Murfreesboro , TN.; Brothers, Ronnie (Diane) McConathy of Ringgold, GA. Dickie (Brenda) McConathy of Fort Oglethorpe, GA. Wayne (Jody) McConathy of Ringgold, GA. Jackie (Gail) Ridings of Rossville, GA; a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews; a host of close friends she considered sisters including a sister-in-law from a former marriage, Teena Kee (Morgan) of Rossville, GA. She was also known as “mom” or “nana” to several of her daughters and granddaughters friends including Kimberly Talley, Ebony Upshaw, Renee Parrish, Terry Wilson, and Tianna Gresham.
