Local architect promoted
Josh Andrews, a local architect, has been promoted to principal at Lord Aeck Sargent, an award-winning architectural and urban planning firm.
Andrews has been with Lord Aeck Sargent since 2000 and has significant expertise in higher education facilities focusing on science/ technology, active learning, student life and historic preservation, as well as K-12 and corporate projects. He is involved in planning, programming, design, construction administration and project management.
Andrews has managed a number of higher education projects, including the Harris A. Smith Building for Packaging Science at Clemson University and the Human and Agricultural Biosciences Building I at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
He is a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards certificate holder and serves on the board of directors for The Museum School of Avondale Estates.
