Children interact with emergency responders
The Pennsylvania State Police Troop P Wyoming and Troop R Dunmore hosted a Sunny Day Camp at Luzerne County Community College’s Public Safety Training Institute in Nanticoke on Saturday. The event was open to children of all ages with a physical or mental handicap. Kids were able to meet state troopers, local police officers, firefighters and other first responders. There was a variety of police vehicles on hand for children to check out, in addition to K-9 units, firetrucks, ambulances and more.
