A bridge to nowhere

The Citizens' Voice - - EDITORIAL -

Editor: The (Kingston) township supervisors’ decision to not let the public use a bridge in their township is poor planning at its best.

The reason stated is liability for creating a dangerous condition, according to the township solicitor and chairman of the board of supervisors. My question is, “Why did they replace it?” I do not receive a direct benefit from this bridge so I don’t expect to pay for upkeep. edward Mattie DALLAS

Only emergency vehicles will be able to use the newly repaired bridge off Route 309 in Kingston Twp. when it opens.
