An­gelo A. Bellino, 76, of Pittston, passed away Fri­day, Sept. 15, 2017, in Geisinger Wy­oming Val­ley Med­i­cal Cen­ter.

Born in the Bronx, New York on Dec. 10, 1940, he was the son of the late John and Florence Mas­cola Bellino. An­gelo was a grad­u­ate of Car­di­nal Hayes High School in the Bronx, New York, Class of 1958.

Af­ter high school, he served in the United States Navy and later worked for the Port Author­ity of New York and New Jersey as a train con­duc­tor for 13 years. An­gelo then moved to Pittston, and was em­ployed by the Pittston Area School District in the main­te­nance depart­ment for 17 years.

He was a life­long New York sports fan and en­joyed watch­ing New York Rangers hockey, New York Yan­kees base­ball, and New York Gi­ants foot­ball.

An­gelo was a lov­ing hus­band, fa­ther, and grand­fa­ther; he es­pe­cially en­joyed at­tend­ing all of his grand­chil­dren’s sports games and ac­tiv­i­ties.

In ad­di­tion to his par­ents, An­gelo was pre­ceded in death by a daugh­ter-in-law, Gail Bellino.

Sur­viv­ing are his wife of 54 years, Joan Gar­ri­son Bellino; sons, John Bellino, Kingston, and his girl­friend Tina Grant, Joe Bellino and his wife Kathryn, West Pittston, and Christo­pher and his wife Kerri, Sur­prise, AZ; daugh­ter, Jennifer Walsh and her hus­band John, Pittston; grand­chil­dren, Stephanie, Ryan, and An­thony Bellino, J.J. Walsh, and Noah and Bri­enna Gib­son; and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews.

A Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be cel­e­brated at 9:30 a.m. Tues­day in St. John the Evan­ge­list Church, 35 Wil­liam St., Pittston. Those at­tend­ing are asked to go di­rectly to the church Tues­day. In­ter­ment will be held in Mt. Olivet Ceme­tery, Carver­ton. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Mon­day at Adonizio Funeral Home LLC, 251 Wil­liam St., Pittston.
