Wil­liam “Billy” H. Ostroski, 61, of Kingston, passed away Thurs­day, Sept. 14, 2017, at ManorCare Nurs­ing Cen­ter, Kingston, sur­rounded by his fam­ily.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late John L. and Alma Heller Ostroski of Kingston and Ed­wardsville.

He was a grad­u­ate of Wy­oming Val­ley West High School.

Billy at­tended Gate of Heaven Church, Dal­las.

Billy worked at Roth Amer­i­can, Ju­ve­nile Prod­ucts, and Lib­erty Throw­ing Com­pany.

Billy’s great­est loves, be­sides his fam­ily and pets, were fish­ing at Har­veys Lake and Frances Slocum State Park, trains, astrology, stargaz­ing and col­lect­ing cans.

Billy had a very kind heart and do­nated to sev­eral or­ga­ni­za­tions, es­pe­cially the Amer­i­can Red Cross.

Pre­ced­ing him in death, in ad­di­tion to his par­ents, were a sis­ter, Deb­bie Davis; broth­ers, John, Mike, Steven and Thomas.

Sur­viv­ing are sis­ters, Judy Ne­whart, Ed­wardsville; Carol Car­rol, Dal­las; broth­ers, Ge­orge Ostroski, Kingston; Joe Ostroski, Shaver­town; sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

Billy’s fam­ily would like to thank Dr. Richard Hunt­ing­ton, Dr. Al­maki, Manor Care, Heart­land Hospice, and Brenda Wal­ley for their care and love of Billy.

Me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at 10 a.m. Wed­nes­day in Gate of Heaven Church, 42 Machell Ave., Dal­las with the Rev. Daniel Toomey of­fi­ci­at­ing. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to ser­vice time at the church.

Ar­range­ments are un­der the di­rec­tion of Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Me­mo­rial High­way, Dal­las.
