Con­stance “Con­nie” M. Med­vec of Den­ton, Md., for­merly of Forty Fort, died Wed­nes­day, Sept. 13, 2017.

Born in Swoy­ersville on Sept. 1, 1937, she was the daugh­ter of the late Joseph and Mar­garet Chorba Katin­sky.

She was pre­de­ceased by her sis­ter, Pa­tri­cia Kelly Car­pen­ter, Fayet­teville, N.C.

She is sur­vived by her daugh­ter, An­drea Holly (Bill), Den­ton, Md.; son, Arnold Row­ell (Deb­bie), Pittston; one grand­son, Ed Row­ell (Jill); two great­grand­chil­dren; Dorothy Gi­uli, Plains Twp.; and many nieces, neph­ews and cousins.

Con­nie was an avid bingo en­thu­si­ast and en­joyed many crafts as hob­bies over the years such as cro­chet, plas­tic can­vas and candy mak­ing.

She was an an­i­mal lover and the fam­ily asks that, in lieu of flow­ers, me­mo­rial do­na­tions be made in her honor to the Caro­line County Hu­mane So­ci­ety, 407 W. Belle St., Rid­g­ley, MD 21660.

Funeral ser­vices will be held in Penn­syl­va­nia at a later date.
