Wilkes Pol­ish Room plans Wig­ilia din­ner

The Wilkes Univer­sity Pol­ish Room Com­mit­tee will hold its eighth an­nual Wig­ilia Din­ner from 2 to 5 p.m. Sun­day, Nov. 26, in the Frank and Dorothea Henry Stu­dent Cen­ter ban­quet room on the Wilkes Univer­sity cam­pus in down­town Wilkes-Barre. Tra­di­tional Pol­ish foods will be served and those at­tend­ing will en­joy singing and lis­ten­ing to Pol­ish Christ­mas car­ols. The two re­cip­i­ents of the Wilkes Univer­sity Pol­ish Room Schol­ar­ships will also at­tend. Co-chairs for the event are Jean Le­vandowski and Rose Fritzen. Other mem­bers of the Wig­ilia Com­mit­tee are Bar­bara Yacu­boski, reser­va­tions, and Joyce Latoski, pub­lic­ity and pro­grams. Cost of the din­ner is $25. Reser­va­tions can be made by call­ing Bar­bara at 570-5427447. Con­firmed reser­va­tion will be made upon re­ceipt of pay­ment.
