Burger King hold-up un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion

A man who en­tered Burger King on Mon­day night pulled a gun and robbed the res­tau­rant, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.

Po­lice say the rob­ber ap­proached the counter of the store at 1 W. Main St. shortly af­ter 9:30 p.m. and passed a note de­mand­ing cash, claim­ing he had a gun. The rob­ber then pulled what ap­peared to be a black hand­gun, po­lice said.

Af­ter get­ting the money, the rob­ber ran out and headed south on South Mar­ket Street, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors de­scribed the rob­ber as a black man be­tween 30 and 35 years old who was a medium height and had a thin mus­tache. He was wear­ing a black and gray baseball cap with a gray sweat­shirt and sweat­pants, po­lice said.
