The Nail­ers won two seg­ments of their three-inthree week­end, beat­ing Manch­ester 7-4 and Fort Wayne 4-2. Ri­ley Bour­bon­nais had the best in­di­vid­ual per­for­mance, record­ing a hat trick and an as­sist against Manch­ester. The 24-year-old has posted an im­pres­sive 15 goals and 15 as­sists in 43 games since turn­ing pro late last sea­son.

The team got one of its top scor­ers back on Tues­day, as Reid Gar­diner was re­turned from WilkesBarre/Scran­ton. The 21-year-old didn’t ap­pear in any games with the Pen­guins, but was tied for third among ECHL rook­ies in scor­ing (14G-14A) at the time of his re­turn.
