Mark Valen­tine Es­tock of Spokane, Wash., passed away at his home Sun­day, April 8, 2018, af­ter a 10-year bat­tle with can­cer, sur­rounded by his lov­ing fam­ily.

Mark was born in Kingston, son of the late Valen­tine and Wanda Warakom­ski Es­tock.

He was a 1964 grad­u­ate of West Side Cen­tral Catholic High School and re­ceived his Bach­e­lor of Arts de­gree from King’s Col­lege. He then joined the U.S. Air Force and served for more than 20 years. Dur­ing this time, he was also a math pro­fes­sor and held var­i­ous other po­si­tions as well.

Pre­ced­ing him in death, along with his par­ents, was his sis­ter, An­drea Fitz­mau­rice.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Penny Greig Es­tock; sis­ter, Su­san Rosen­tel, Hunlock Creek; brother, Paul Es­tock, Love­land, Colo.; chil­dren, Ben, Con­nell, Wash.; An­na­marie Faste­son, Big Sandy, Mont.; Daniel, Cheney, Wash.; Mar­garet Faste­son, Big Sandy, Mont.; El­iz­a­beth Rose Zollinger, Spokane Val­ley, Wash.; and Samuel, Auburn, Wash.; stepchil­dren, Re­becca Coleman, El­iz­a­beth Solscheld, Car­rie Pea­cock and Greg Mcal­lis­ter, all of Spokane, Wash.; 33 grand­chil­dren; and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews.

Fu­neral ser­vices were held April 11 in Spokane, Wash.

Ar­range­ments were han­dled by Cheney Fu­neral Chapel, Cheney, Wash.
