On Sun­day, April 15, 2018, Fran­cis “Frank” P. Halecki died in Bal­ti­more, Md.

Frank was born in Plains Twp. and grad­u­ated from Plains High School in 1945. He moved to Bal­ti­more, Md., fol­low­ing his dis­charge from the U.S. Navy and worked as a ma­chin­ist for var­i­ous com­pa­nies.

He was a mem­ber of the Abend­shoen Coun­cil of the Knights of Colum­bus and the Church of the An­nun­ci­a­tion.

He is sur­vived by his beloved wife, Cle­men­tine “Tina” A. Halecki (née Kendzior), and was the de­voted fa­ther of Paula J. Williams, Linda M. Dau and her hus­band, Bill, Richard J. Halecki and his wife, Cheri, and the late Robert F. Halecki. Frank was the cher­ished grand­fa­ther of Lisa Bragg (Bruce), Amanda Pan­neton (Brad), Joseph W. Dau, Melissa Cutcher (Chris), Kathryn Williams, Court­ney Halecki and Kait­lyn Halecki, and the lov­ing great-grand­fa­ther of Austin, Trey, Bray­den and Tan­ner. He was the dear brother of He­len Lee and the late Leonard Halecki and Flo­rence Semko. Also sur­viv­ing are nieces, neph­ews, other rel­a­tives and friends.

The fam­ily will re­ceive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wed­nes­day at the fam­ily owned Duda-ruck Fu­neral Home of Dun­dalk Inc., 7922 Wise Ave., Dun­dalk, Md.

The Fu­neral Mass will be cel­e­brated at 10 a.m. Thurs­day in the Church of the An­nun­ci­a­tion, Rosedale, Md.

In­ter­ment will be held in Gar­dens of Faith Ceme­tery.

In lieu of flow­ers, the fam­ily will ap­pre­ci­ate memo­rial con­tri­bu­tions to the Mis­sion Helpers of the Sa­cred Heart, c/o Sis­ter Su­san En­gel, M.H.S.H., 5212 Mccormick Ave., Bal­ti­more, MD 21206.
