NBT Bank

Susque­hanna re­tail mar­ket man­ager Kim­berly Smith, a res­i­dent of Kings­ley, has been pro­moted to vice pres­i­dent. Smith joined the bank in 2001 and has taken on po­si­tions of in­creas­ing re­spon­si­bil­ity, in­clud­ing man­ag­ing the Great Bend and New Mil­ford of­fices. She was pro­moted to as­sis­tant vice pres­i­dent in 2016 and now over­sees the bank’s branch net­work in Susque­hanna County with re­spon­si­bil­ity for man­ag­ing the ser­vice, per­for­mance and de­vel­op­ment of her branch teams.

The or­ga­ni­za­tion has ap­pointed Philip P. Con­dron as its board chair­man for fis­cal years 2018-2020. He is CEO

of Con­dron Me­dia, a re­gional full-ser­vice ad­ver­tis­ing and pub­lic re­la­tions firm head­quar­tered in Scranton.

He has op­er­ated the me­dia firm for al­most a quar­ter cen­tury. Pre­vi­ously, he served as the chief op­er­at­ing of­fi­cer of one of the area’s largest ad­ver­tis­ing agen­cies af­ter man­ag­ing broad­cast sta­tions in the North­east Penn­syl­va­nia mar­ket.

The or­ga­ni­za­tion has also ap­pointed the fol­low­ing peo­ple to its board of di­rec­tors:

Schuylkill County Com­mis­sioner Ge­orge Hal­co­v­age, who is the pres­i­dent and

in­sur­ance agent at Mor­gan and Hal­co­v­age In­sur­ance Agency in Min­ersville, which was es­tab­lished in 1950. Hal­co­v­age was elected as a Schuylkill County com­mis­sioner in 2012 and is cur­rently in his sec­ond term. He serves on the board of the County Com­mis­sion­ers As­so­ci­a­tion and chairs its As­sess­ment and Tax­a­tion Com­mit­tee. He also chairs the Re­pub­li­can Cau­cus of County Com­mis­sion­ers. Hal­co­v­age will serve as the sec­re­tary on the al­liance’s Ex­ec­u­tive Com­mit­tee.

Wil­liam (Bill) Kerstetter,

who served as vice pres­i­dent and com­mer­cial loan of­fi­cer at the Wayne Bank in Hones­dale be­fore his re­tire­ment in 2015. He will serve as the as­sis­tant trea­surer on the Ex­ec­u­tive Com­mit­tee.

Mary Frances Postupack, who is vice pres­i­dent for Eco­nomic De­vel­op­ment and En­trepreneur­ship at East Strouds­burg Univer­sity. She has over 20 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in the ar­eas of ed­u­ca­tion, busi­ness and eco­nomic de­vel­op­ment. Postupack is a past pres­i­dent of the Univer­sity Eco­nomic De­vel­op­ment As­so­ci­a­tion, a na­tional or­ga­ni­za­tion rep­re­sent­ing higher ed­u­ca­tion, and pri­vate and pub­lic eco­nomic de­vel­op­ment stake­hold­ers. She will serve as the as­sis­tant sec­re­tary on the Ex­ec­u­tive Com­mit­tee.

Wayne Me­mo­rial Com­mu­nity Health Cen­ters

Board-cer­ti­fied psy­chi­a­trist Tuhin Gupta, M.D., has joined the team of providers at the Be­hav­ioral Health Cen­ter in Hones­dale. Gupta treats adults, chil­dren and ado­les­cents at the re­cently ex­panded out­pa­tient fa­cil­ity lo­cated within the Stour­bridge Pro­fes­sional Com­plex. In ad­di­tion to be­hav­ioral health di­ag­noses, he also treats pa­tients suf­fer­ing from sub­stance use dis­or­ders. Gupta is cer­ti­fied by the Amer­i­can Board of Psy­chi­a­try and Neu­rol­ogy.
