ATI presented with plaque
Aviation Technologies Inc., the fixed base operator at the Wilkes-barre/scranton International Airport, was presented a plaque from Patient Airlift Services, a nonprofit charitable aviation organization that arranges free air transportation for medical, compassionate, humanitarian and military needs. The generosity of the aviation community is essential to the PALS program and mission, according to a news release. FBOS often waive or reduce fees associated with the PALS flights, including landing and fueling, and make sure the needs of the PALS pilots and passengers are met. ATI supplies fuel to the scheduled air carriers, business and private aircraft, operates a Part 145 aircraft repair station, and provides charter aircraft and operates a Flight School, which includes flight instruction for Marywood University.
