Paulette J. Tre­silus, 62, of Ed­wardsville, passed away Tues­day, Nov. 6, 2018, in Wilkes-barre Gen­eral Hospi­tal.

She was born in Port-auprince, Haiti, and was the daugh­ter of Waty Joinville and Icle­nie An­toine.

Back in Haiti, she was a nurse when she moved to the United States in 2000. In the U.S., she worked at Lib­erty Place for 10 years. She was a mem­ber of Shek­inah Sev­enth Day Ad­ven­tist Church. She was loved by many.

Paulette was a spir­i­tual woman and in­volved in many church ac­tiv­i­ties, in­clud­ing dea­coness, choir mem­ber, and di­rec­tor of So­cial Ser­vices. She will be deeply missed by her fam­ily, friends, and all who knew her.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­ceded in death by her sis­ter, Jo­ce­line Joinvile and Myr­lande Siverne, and brother, Roland Joinville.

Sur­viv­ing are her hus­band, Is­mael Tre­silus; daugh­ter, Rachelle; sons, Jean David Em­manuel, Jean Nathanael and Wood­meal; step­sons, Isaac and Daniel; grand­chil­dren, Em­manuel, Neaj, Da­nia, Gael, Malachi, Micah and Isa­iah; broth­ers, Jean Monvil Civil and Arthur Joinville; sis­ters, Il­lomene, Leyenne, Eph­ese, and Josiane, Lil­liame La­porte; cousins, Jean Claude La­pore, Lesly, Erns and Naomie and Me­ri­ame; nieces, El­iz­a­beth, Naomie, Josette, Jo­hane, Ann Sa­muel, Amos, and Eli; nieces, Cle­nie Rain Civil and Sharon Civil.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held at noon Fri­day from Harold C. Snow­don Home for Fu­ner­als Inc., 420 Wy­oming Ave., Kingston. In­ter­ment will fol­low in Deni­son Ceme­tery, Swoy­ersville. Friends may call from 11 a.m. un­til time of ser­vice at the fu­neral home.
