Designation: Jim a sales in the Doylestown office of Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., was recently awarded the Certified Negotiation Expert designation from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute.
The CNE is earned by real estate professionals after successfully completing formal negotiation training over two days. Agents who receive this certification are among the top agents in the country in negotiation skills.
Diamond Award: The Linda Baron Team, sales associates in the Blue Bell office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors, received a Chairman’s Circle Diamond Award for excellent sales performance for 2013.
The award places the team members in the top ½ of 1 percent of all BHHS agents. Team members, led by Linda Baron, include Kathy Givigliano, Anne Tulloch, Amy Ingber, Joan Michel, Julie Cooper and Elaine Flanagan.
Arnold honored: Lucy Arnold, a sales associate with the Devon office of Long & Foster Real Estate Inc., was named top producer for July 2014. Vice President and manager Janet Rubino made the announcement.
Arnold has been the office’s top new home sales producer for the past several years. Working primarily in the Delaware Valley area, in and around Chester, Montgomery and Delaware counties, Arnold has been a consistent top producer.
Arnold began her career in the resale home market and quickly gravitated to new homes marketing, representing several of the best builders in the area.
She currently represents the homes developed by Sukonik Homes and its developments Oak Creek in Royersford, Brookside Estates in Lower Pottsgrove and the newest development coming on the market, Mountainview, in North Limerick.
Arnold and her husband Ray, also a sales agent for Long & Foster, reside in Montgomery County.

BARON lected as the general contractor for renovations at Spring Meadows, a personal care community in Lansdale.
Originally built in 1986, Spring Meadows will undergo a nearly $3 million renovation and refurbishment program including improvements and upgrades to the community’s interior and exterior façade and the design of a new memory care specialty wing.
The project includes installation of new HVAC systems and improvements to the building’s façade, which includes a new roof, repairs to siding and the cupola, redesign of the building’s front entry and the residential patio area.
To improve common area usage, the entire main core of the building is being redesigned. Amenities such as the beauty and barber salon, main activity area and bistro dining area will be relocated as part of the renovation. An electronic medical records system is also being introduced as well as WiiFi throughout the community to better serve the health and safety needs of the residents.
James M. Davis, manager of Berks Ridge, will manage the renovation team. Founded in 1982, the Harleysville- based company is a commercial construction management firm with extensive experience in senior living communities. In the past five years, the company has managed new construction and renovation projects for more than 20 senior living communities including assisted living and memory care communities.
Other local companies involved in the Spring Meadows renovation are Harleysville-based IT Landes & Son Inc., the HVAC contractor, and R & R Electric of Zieglerville.
