Des­ig­na­tion: Jim a sales in the Doylestown of­fice of Long & Fos­ter Real Es­tate Inc., was re­cently awarded the Cer­ti­fied Ne­go­ti­a­tion Ex­pert des­ig­na­tion from the Real Es­tate Ne­go­ti­a­tion In­sti­tute.

The CNE is earned by real es­tate pro­fes­sion­als af­ter suc­cess­fully com­plet­ing for­mal ne­go­ti­a­tion train­ing over two days. Agents who re­ceive this cer­ti­fi­ca­tion are among the top agents in the coun­try in ne­go­ti­a­tion skills.

Di­a­mond Award: The Linda Baron Team, sales as­so­ciates in the Blue Bell of­fice of Berk­shire Hathaway HomeSer­vices Fox & Roach, Re­al­tors, re­ceived a Chair­man’s Cir­cle Di­a­mond Award for ex­cel­lent sales per­for­mance for 2013.

The award places the team mem­bers in the top ½ of 1 per­cent of all BHHS agents. Team mem­bers, led by Linda Baron, in­clude Kathy Givigliano, Anne Tul­loch, Amy Ing­ber, Joan Michel, Julie Cooper and Elaine Flanagan.

Arnold hon­ored: Lucy Arnold, a sales as­so­ciate with the Devon of­fice of Long & Fos­ter Real Es­tate Inc., was named top pro­ducer for July 2014. Vice Pres­i­dent and man­ager Janet Ru­bino made the an­nounce­ment.

Arnold has been the of­fice’s top new home sales pro­ducer for the past sev­eral years. Work­ing pri­mar­ily in the Delaware Val­ley area, in and around Ch­ester, Mont­gomery and Delaware coun­ties, Arnold has been a con­sis­tent top pro­ducer.

Arnold be­gan her ca­reer in the re­sale home mar­ket and quickly grav­i­tated to new homes mar­ket­ing, rep­re­sent­ing sev­eral of the best builders in the area.

She cur­rently rep­re­sents the homes de­vel­oped by Sukonik Homes and its de­vel­op­ments Oak Creek in Royersford, Brook­side Es­tates in Lower Pottsgrove and the new­est devel­op­ment com­ing on the mar­ket, Moun­tain­view, in North Lim­er­ick.

Arnold and her hus­band Ray, also a sales agent for Long & Fos­ter, re­side in Mont­gomery County.

BARON lected as the gen­eral con­trac­tor for ren­o­va­tions at Spring Mead­ows, a per­sonal care com­mu­nity in Lans­dale.

Orig­i­nally built in 1986, Spring Mead­ows will un­dergo a nearly $3 mil­lion ren­o­va­tion and re­fur­bish­ment pro­gram in­clud­ing im­prove­ments and up­grades to the com­mu­nity’s in­te­rior and ex­te­rior façade and the de­sign of a new mem­ory care spe­cialty wing.

The project in­cludes in­stal­la­tion of new HVAC sys­tems and im­prove­ments to the build­ing’s façade, which in­cludes a new roof, re­pairs to sid­ing and the cupola, re­design of the build­ing’s front en­try and the res­i­den­tial pa­tio area.

To im­prove com­mon area us­age, the en­tire main core of the build­ing is be­ing re­designed. Ameni­ties such as the beauty and bar­ber salon, main ac­tiv­ity area and bistro din­ing area will be re­lo­cated as part of the ren­o­va­tion. An elec­tronic med­i­cal records sys­tem is also be­ing in­tro­duced as well as Wi­iFi through­out the com­mu­nity to bet­ter serve the health and safety needs of the res­i­dents.

James M. Davis, man­ager of Berks Ridge, will man­age the ren­o­va­tion team. Founded in 1982, the Har­leysville- based com­pany is a com­mer­cial con­struc­tion man­age­ment firm with ex­ten­sive ex­pe­ri­ence in se­nior liv­ing com­mu­ni­ties. In the past five years, the com­pany has man­aged new con­struc­tion and ren­o­va­tion pro­jects for more than 20 se­nior liv­ing com­mu­ni­ties in­clud­ing as­sisted liv­ing and mem­ory care com­mu­ni­ties.

Other lo­cal com­pa­nies in­volved in the Spring Mead­ows ren­o­va­tion are Har­leysville-based IT Lan­des & Son Inc., the HVAC con­trac­tor, and R & R Elec­tric of Zieglerville.
