Ohio State projects to No. 4 seed in East
Men
Duncan Robinson scored 16 points and made all four of his threes in the first half, Moe Wagner had 20 points and 11 rebounds, and visiting Michigan (20-7, 9-5 Big Ten) beat Wisconsin (11-16, 4-10). The Wolverines won on the road for the first time since upsetting Michigan State on Jan. 13.
Kyle Washington scored 17 points on 8-of12 shooting in 18 minutes, and visiting Cincinnati (23-2, 12-0 American Athletic Conference) won its 16th straight game by routing Southern Methodist (15-10, 5-7).
Grayson Allen scored 23 points, and visiting Duke (20-5, 8-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) beat Georgia Tech (11-14, 4-8) to end a twogame losing streak. Allen had been held to singledigits in losses at St. John’s and North Carolina.
Shep Garner scored 16 points and Tony Carr added 15 to lead visiting Penn State (18-9, 8-6 Big Ten) over Illinois (12-14, 2-11), which didn’t score for seven-plus minutes of the second half.
Women
Eleanna Christinaki scored 18 points, and visiting Maryland (22-3, 11-1 Big Ten) used a big run at the end of the first half to beat Rutgers (18-9, 6-7). The Terrapins led 30-26 with 3:43 left in the half before they scored 13 of the final 14 points in the second quarter.
Lexi Gussert scored 11 of her 14 points in the first half to help her team build a double-digit lead, and host Michigan State (15-11, 5-8 Big Ten) held off Michigan (20-7, 9-5). After falling behind 7-0, the Spartans went on a 21-4 run and snapped a six-game losing streak.
