Taylor, DeWine super PACs duel
Super PACs supporting the dueling Republican gubernatorial campaigns of Mike DeWine and Mary Taylor each spent more than $900,000 in the first three months of the year.
The super PAC supporting Taylor's campaign received a lone $850,000 donation from a nonprofit, while the super PAC supporting DeWine incurred nearly $1 million in debts ahead of the May 8 primary.
Onward Ohio, a political action committee originally formed by Lt. Gov. Taylor to support her candidacy before it was formally announced, received $850,000 on March 16 from the Independence and Freedom Network,
