Superintendent contract reached
The Columbus Board of Education has finally signed its sought-after new superintendent Talisa Dixon as the next leader of Ohio’s largest school district.
During a special meeting Saturday, the board approved a threeyear deal with Dixon that will pay her Dixon $242,000 a year, plus incentives. She will start full time on March 4, but will work one day a week in the district beginning Jan. 1.
