Hodnett, Louella

Louella Hodnett, age 88, born in Lanett, AL to Susie Hodge and Nelson Tucker, passed away January 8, 2021. She joined St. John Baptist Church in West Pointe, GA at an early age. She later married Fuller Hodnett in September of 1953. She was an active member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church for over 60 years where she sang in the Jubilee Choir. Preceded in death by her husband Fuller Hodnett, daughter Patricia Hodnett and her parents. Louella leaves to cherish her memory and legacy daughters, Irene (Paul) Smith, Onita (Charles) Riddle, Gloria Hodnett; son, Richard (Sherrial) Hodnett; brothers, James (Betty) Tucker, Roosevelt (Ada) Tucker; grandchildren, Duvon (Linda) Tucker, Marlon Riddle, Aja Hughes, Tamika Hodnett, Rebekah Smith, Trey Hodnett; great grandchildren, Kaylin, Christina, and Isaiah Tucker; special friends, Moody Debenion, Lois Rivers; special niece, Willie Mae Montgomery and a host of other relatives and friends. Home Going Celebration 10am Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church,1775 W. Broad Street, where her family will receive friends from 9AM until time of service.
