Girl Scouts have fun at father-daughter dance

The 28th annual Valentine Dance, sponsored by the Boyertown Service Unit of Girl Scouts of Eastern PA was held on Feb. 10 at New Hanover Methodist Church in Montgomery County. Girl Scouts and their father/ significan­t male mentors danced, made bookmarks for local retirement communitie­s and contribute­d canned goods for the Boyertown Salvation Army. More than 250 people attended the event. Everyone danced to the music provided by DJ Jeff Gorge and posed for pictures taken by Steve Pestrock Photograph­y. All the planning, set up, supervisio­n and clean up was provided by the troop leaders and older Girl Scouts.
