Fall Bazaar: The annual Fall Bazaar will be held at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 1236 Juniper St. Pottstown, Saturday, Nov. 4, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers can purchase pierogi, both potato or sauerkraut; holupki (stuffed cabbage); halushki (buttered noodles); and nut rolls, all made from authentic Slavic recipes. Homemade soups and baked goods also will be available. Customers can enjoy a meal at the church or buy takeout. The bazaar will feature gift basket raffles and a flea market. Penn to Potts Lecture: Join historian Dan Graham and uncover the story of the land between the time of William Penn to John Potts during this lecture at Pottsgrove Manor Saturday, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m. Dig more into the history of the land where Pottstown now sits, its origins and how it changed throughout time during the special lecture “Penn to Potts: A Convenient Tract of Land.” Following the lecture, mingle and ask Graham your questions. Additionally, visitors can take guided tours of the manor and learn more about the Potts family and household. PMMC Offering Free Child Care Safety Check: Pottstown Memorial Medical Center is offering free car seat safety checks on the third Friday of every month from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Goodwill Ambulance Company, 714 E. Child Certified Passenger Safety Technicians and trained volunteers will check child car seats for: recalls and damage; best fit for weight, height, and age; and will teach installation techniques.
