Fall Bazaar: The an­nual Fall Bazaar will be held at Holy Trin­ity Ortho­dox Church, 1236 Ju­niper St. Pottstown, Satur­day, Nov. 4, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cus­tomers can pur­chase pierogi, both potato or sauer­kraut; holupki (stuffed cab­bage); halushki (but­tered noo­dles); and nut rolls, all made from au­then­tic Slavic recipes. Home­made soups and baked goods also will be avail­able. Cus­tomers can en­joy a meal at the church or buy take­out. The bazaar will fea­ture gift bas­ket raf­fles and a flea mar­ket. Penn to Potts Lec­ture: Join his­to­rian Dan Gra­ham and un­cover the story of the land be­tween the time of Wil­liam Penn to John Potts dur­ing this lec­ture at Pottsgrove Manor Satur­day, Nov. 4, at 1 p.m. Dig more into the his­tory of the land where Pottstown now sits, its ori­gins and how it changed through­out time dur­ing the spe­cial lec­ture “Penn to Potts: A Con­ve­nient Tract of Land.” Fol­low­ing the lec­ture, min­gle and ask Gra­ham your ques­tions. Ad­di­tion­ally, visi­tors can take guided tours of the manor and learn more about the Potts fam­ily and house­hold.
