BOY­ER­TOWN 3, COLLEGIUM CHAR­TER 0 >> The Bears picked up a non-con­fer­ence win over Collegium Char­ter in straight sets to im­prove to 12-3 over­all on the sea­son.

Set scores were 25-7, 2510 and 25-15. Ash­ley An­ders posted five digs, two aces and an as­sist while Lo­gan Black had four digs and three aces. Other sta­tis­ti­cal lead­ers were Olivia Hur­ley (two blocks, two kills), Adri­anna Der­s­tine (two kills, one dig, one block, two aces). BOY­ER­TOWN 3, NORRISTOWN 0>> The Bears dropped the Ea­gles in straight sets dur­ing a PAC Lib­erty Di­vi­sion matchup.

Set scores were 25-10, 25-13 and 25-16. Lead­ers for Boy­er­town were Ju­lia Smith (26 digs, nine as­sists) and Tay­lor Jones (17 as­sists, 12 digs, eight kills, eight aces). Emily Wolfe had 12 kills, two aces, six digs and four blocks while Emma Lud­wig added 12 kills, 13 digs and nine as­sists. BOY­ER­TOWN 3, SPRING-FORD 1>> The Bears re­bounded from an open­ing-set loss to pre­vail over the Rams in PAC ac­tion. Set scores were 23-25, 25-15, 25-17 and 2523.

Lead­ers for the Bears were Emma Lud­wig (12 kills, 16 digs, 15 as­sists), Emily Wolfe (nine digs, seven blocks, five kills). Ju­lia Smith (15 digs) and Tay­lor Jones (18 kills, 14 digs, 16 as­sists).

BOY­ER­TOWN 3, NORTH PENN 0>> The Boy­er­town girls vol­ley­ball team picked up a 3-0 win over North Penn in a close non-league con­test Satur­day evening.

Set scores were 27-25, 2518 and 25-19.

Tay­lor Jones posted 11 digs and 10 as­sists for Boy­er­town (15-3 over­all) while Ju­lia Smith chipped in with 15 digs. Emma Lud­wig had 15 digs and 16 as­sists while Al­lie Gar­ris had six digs and two blocks.

Boys Soc­cer

Sam Smith’s sec­ond-half goal was the dif­fer­ence in a de­fense-dom­i­nated PAC Lib­erty Di­vi­sion boys soc­cer game Tues­day be­tween Owen J. Roberts and Boy­er­town.

The Wild­cats used Smith’s tally to se­cure a 1-0 vic­tory over the Bears.

Smith con­verted Josh Fonder’s setup with 25:29 left in the game. The matchup was rel­a­tively even other­wise, Owen J. with a 10-9 edge in shots on goal, both teams tak­ing pairs of cor­ners and their goal­keep­ers mak­ing seven saves. SPRING-FORD 1, BOY­ER­TOWN 0, OT >> Brett Gu­lati broke the dead­lock 1:14 into over­time to keep the Rams un­de­feated in PAC play (7-0-1, 9-0-1, 11-1-2).

An­drew Raser was on the as­sist while goalie Ray For­te­buono had six saves in the shutout. Ma­son Kurtz had seven saves for Boy­er­town.

WIL­SON 2, BOY­ER­TOWN 0 >> Lu­cas Sarge and Justin Wat­ter­son each scored a sec­ond-half goal to lead the Bull­dogs past the Bears (75-1) in non-league ac­tion.

Ma­son Kurtz’s six goal­keeper saves was the high­light for Boy­er­town.

Girls soc­cer

SPRING-FORD 3, BOY­ER­TOWN 1>> Spring-Ford ral­lied from a goal down in the sec­ond half with a goal from Ella Curry and a dou­ble by Kelly Dom­broski in a key PAC Lib­erty matchup.

Boy­er­town, com­ing off of a 0-0 over­time draw with league leader Owen J. Roberts a night be­fore, led 1-0 at half­time on a goal from Emma El­well.

The win strength­ened the Rams’ sec­ond-place stand­ing in the PAC Lib­erty (6-2 di­vi­sion, 9-2 PAC, 10-2 over­all) while Boy­er­town fell to 3-3-2, 6-3-2 and 8-4-3 over­all.

Boys Cross Coun­try

PERKIOMEN VAL­LEY 23, BOY­ER­TOWN 33 >> Though Chris­tian Mc­Comb gave the Bears over­all race hon­ors, the Vik­ings claimed six of the next nine spots to win this PAC Lib­erty Di­vi­sion meet.

Mc­Comb’s 16:53 fin­ish made him the lone run­ner with a sub-17 time. Tyler Clif­ford (17:08), Ethan Ri­belin (17:24) and Dy­lan Danowski (17:34) went 2-3-4 for PV.

Girls cross coun­try

PERKIOMEN VAL­LEY 15, BOY­ER­TOWN 50 >> The Vik­ings took the first seven places in the fin­ish­ing order on the way to their PAC Lib­erty Di­vi­sion vic­tory over the Bears.

De­laney O’Sul­li­van scored over­all race hon­ors for PV, run­ning a 21:14. Zora Bergey placed eighth in 22:48 to lead Boy­er­town.

Field hockey

POTTS­GROVE 4, BOY­ER­TOWN 1>> Ly­dia Mace scored less than five min­utes into the game and the Fal­cons used a three-goal sec­ond half to claim a PAC di­vi­sional cross­over win against the Bears.

Ri­ley Si­mon scored twice in the win while Katie Bean added a score and Amanda Stone had six saves in the cage. Boy­er­town’s Lau­ren Eves got on the board while Laura Wi­gand made four saves.

OWEN J. ROBERTS 10, BOY­ER­TOWN 0 >> Jenna Kirby fig­ured in on six goals in the Wild­cats’ PAC Lib­erty Di­vi­sion rout of the Bears.

Kirby net­ted a hat trick and added three as­sists as OJR jumped out to a 7-0 lead by the half. Natalie Fuertsch added a pair of goals and two as­sists while Ju­lia Lamb, Mad­die Wisen, Brid­get Gal­lagher (as­sist), Mag­gie Kil­gal­lon and Rory Cahill rounded out the scor­ers with solo tal­lies.

Boys golf

BOY­ER­TOWN 216, POPE JOHN PAUL II 219 >> John En­gle fired a round-best 4-over 39 to lead the Bears past the Golden Pan­thers in this PAC matchup at Gil­bertsville.

Bran­don Staneszewski fol­lowed with a 40 and Brad Fen­ster­maker shot 43 for Boy­er­town. Ja­son Teefy fired a 41 for PJP.

Girls ten­nis

METHACTON 6, BOY­ER­TOWN 1 >> The War­riors took all but one pair­ing in straight sets in their PAC match with the Bears.

Methacton’s best in­di­vid­ual show­ings be­longed to Dina Nouaime (first sin­gles), Tina Prince (sec­ond sin­gles) and Ju­lia Jablan­ski and Katie Chan (third dou­bles), all of whom won by 6-0, 6-0 sets. Boy­er­town’s point was scored by Kara Bussinger at third sin­gles.
