Mary Hunt Mi­ley

Mary Hunt Mi­ley, 87, of Al­pharetta, died July 31. A na­tive of Ge­or­gia, she had lived in Al­pharetta for the past 17 years.

Mrs. Mi­ley was an ac­tive mem­ber of the Al­pharetta Pres­by­te­rian Church and worked closely with the Stephen’s Min­istry. For 40 years she was very ac­tive dur­ing the sum­mer­time in the Con­ley Cove Sun­day School Class.

Mrs. Mi­ley was past pres­i­dent of Pi­lots In­ter­na­tional Club and was very ac­tive in var­i­ous com­mu­nity ser­vices and ac­tiv­i­ties. She was pre­ceded in death by hus­band Harry W. Mi­ley.

Sur­viv­ing are chil­dren Anne Mi­ley and Bob Bray of Can­ton, Harry W. Mi­ley Jr. and In­grid McReynolds of Columbia, S. C., Martin H. and Karen Mi­ley of Cov­ing­ton; sis­ter Gene Jerni­gan of In­ver­ness, Fla.; brother Carver Hunt of Hi­awassee; grand­chil­dren Eric M. and Maia Bray of In­di­anapo­lis, Ind., Bran­don W. Bray of San Diego, Calif, Hal Mi­ley, Cal­lie Mi­ley, both of Columbia, Paul M. and Al­li­son Mi­ley of Forsyth, Jared W. Mi­ley, Jonathan H. Mi­ley, both of Cov­ing­ton; great- grand­daugh­ter Calah Mi­ley of Forsyth.

Funeral ser­vices will be at 11 a. m. Aug. 6 at Al­pharetta Pres­by­te­rian Church with the Rev. He­len Skillern of­fi­ci­at­ing. In lieu of flow­ers, the fam­ily re­quests do­na­tions be made to the Stephen’s Min­istry at Al­pharetta Pres­by­te­rian Church. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends Sun­day, Aug. 5, from 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. at North­side Chapel Funeral Direc­tors and Cre­ma­tory, Roswell.
