Ms. Ida Marie Ter­rell

Ms. Ida Marie “ Ree” Ter­rell died Aug. 1. The daugh­ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wil­lie ( Lucy) Ter­rell, she was born in 1968 in Cov­ing­ton. She joined Mt. Zion A. M. E. Church at an early age and sang in the youth choir. She at­tended New­ton County pub­lic schools. Ms. Ter­rell was pre­ceded in death by grand­par­ents Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rus­sell, Mr. Gabe Ter­rell and sis­ters Ms. Mary Ann Ter­rell and Ms. Linda Cle­ments.

Sur­viv­ing are lov­ing par­ents Mr. and Mrs. Wil­lie ( Lucy) Ter­rell; sons Court­ney D. Ter­rell, Ron V. Ter­rell; daugh­ters Key­era C. Belcher, Laqueka L. Belcher, Crys­tal Marie Belcher, all of Cony­ers; de­voted com­pan­ion Mr. Ron­ald Belcher; brothers Mr. John Ter­rell, Mr. Stacy Ter­rell, Mr. and Mrs. Robert ( Latonya) Ter­rell, all of Cov­ing­ton; sis­ters Mr. and Mrs. Jesse ( Susie) Daniel, Ms. Denise Ter­rell, Mr. and Mrs. Richard ( Pur­cilla) Woods, Ms. Diane Ter­rell, all of Cov­ing­ton, Ms. San­dra Ter­rell of Val­dosta; grand­mother Ms. Ida Ter­rell; god­par­ents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ter­rell; 11 nieces; 14 neph­ews; a host of aunts, un­cles, other rel­a­tives and friends.

Funeral ser­vices were held at 2 p. m. Aug. 9 at Po­plar Hill A. M. E. Church, Mansfield, with the Rev. Ahmed Martin of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment fol­lowed at Po­plar Hill Ceme­tery.
