Famed Bounty Hunter ‘Dog’ com­ing to Stonecrest

Re­al­ity TV star to pro­mote new book

LITHO­NIA — Duane “ Dog” Chap­man, famed bounty hunter and star of A& E’s “ Dog the Bounty Hunter,” will ap­pear at the Mall at Stonecrest to dis­cuss his no-holds-bared mem­oir, “You Can Run, But You Can’t Hide” on Satur­day, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m. Fans are in­vited to meet Dog and ac­cess the VIP meet and greet with pur­chase of his new book from Border’s Stonecrest. Proof of pur­chase is re­quired.

Duane “Dog” Chap­man, was raised in Den­ver and the old­est of four chil­dren born to Wesley and Bar­bara Chap­man. His dad was a welder in the Navy, while his mother was a min­is­ter with the First As­sem­bly of God who of­ten trav­eled to Na­tive Amer­i­can reser­va­tions to teach the gospel.

Dog spent the first twenty-three years of his life on the wrong side of the law. In “You Can Run, But You Can’t Hide,” he of­fers an inside look at his days as a gang mem­ber, his dark years of ad­dic­tion and abuse’ and how serv­ing eigh­teen months in prison helped him recom­mit to his faith. He also shares sto­ries of some of his most dan­ger­ous bounty hunts — in­clud­ing his cap­ture of the no­to­ri­ous Max Fac­tor heir, which made in­terna- tional head­lines.

The Mall at Stonecrest fea­tures Dil­lard’s, JCPen­ney, Macy’s and Sears. The cen­ter of­fers over 130 spe­cialty stores, a 16- screen AMC Theatre and the Pavil­ion Food Court.
