Little Liam Daniel Cline, of Covington, died Aug. 7. He is survived by parents William and Brandy Wragg Cline of Covington; brothers Devyn Cline of Ohio, Marley Wragg of Covington; grandparents Wanda and Mark Watson of Phenix City, Ala., Christopher and Windy Wragg of Covington, Treena and Tim Cline-Baker of Alpharetta, Hal Cline of Covington; great-grandparents Bobby Hall of Phenix City, James and Vicki Clay of Covington; greatgreat-grandmother Doris Rozier of Covington; uncles Nicholas Cline, Stephen Cooper; aunts Christian Wragg, Hope Adkins; several cousins.
The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan today, Aug. 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Tom Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.
Glen Walter Vanderwater, 76, of Conyers, died Aug. 9. The son of the late William and Edith Vanderwater, he was born in Pekin, Ill., in 1930. He was an avid reader and world traveler. A graduate of Bradley University and an Eagle Scout, Mr. Vanderwater served in the United States Army and was a Korean War veteran. Mr. Vanderwater worked at Lithonia Lighting for 33 years and retired as senior vice president of Finance and Administration. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all.
Surviving are wife of 27 years Van Vanderwater; sisters Marilyn Earp of Deltona, Fla., Lorraine Conroy of Mendota, Ill.; brother Robert Vanderwater of Houston, Texas; children Shirley Barnes of LaGrange, Diane Busha of Canon, Mike Vanderwater of Georgia, Terry Vanderwater of Covington, Cary Vanderwater, Dewey Rose of Georgia, Melanie Miller of Conyers, Dr. Lisa Miller of Covington, Ginger Blair of Indialantic, Fla.; grandchildren Rhonda Grimes, Crystal Messer, Patrick Duffy, George Moon, Gary Vanderwater, Michael Vanderwater, Amy Vanderwater, Brittany Vanderwater, Nicholas Vanderwater, Jackie Moseley, Scott Warren, Anna Warren, Gracie Miller, Kelsey Blair, Shelby Blair; nine great-grandchildren; numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Aug. 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Covington, with the Rev. Mike Nickolich and the Rev. David Wilson officiating. Entombment will follow at Memory Chapel Mausoleum, Lawnwood Memorial Park.
