Lit­tle Liam Daniel Cline, of Cov­ing­ton, died Aug. 7. He is sur­vived by par­ents William and Brandy Wragg Cline of Cov­ing­ton; brothers Devyn Cline of Ohio, Mar­ley Wragg of Cov­ing­ton; grand­par­ents Wanda and Mark Wat­son of Phenix City, Ala., Christo­pher and Windy Wragg of Cov­ing­ton, Treena and Tim Cline-Baker of Al­pharetta, Hal Cline of Cov­ing­ton; great-grand­par­ents Bobby Hall of Phenix City, James and Vicki Clay of Cov­ing­ton; great­great-grand­mother Doris Rozier of Cov­ing­ton; un­cles Ni­cholas Cline, Stephen Cooper; aunts Chris­tian Wragg, Hope Ad­kins; sev­eral cousins.

The fam­ily will re­ceive friends at Cald­well & Cowan to­day, Aug. 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral ser­vices will be held Satur­day, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Cald­well & Cowan with the Rev. Tom Lee of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at Lawn­wood Me­mo­rial Park.

Glen Wal­ter Van­der­wa­ter, 76, of Cony­ers, died Aug. 9. The son of the late William and Edith Van­der­wa­ter, he was born in Pekin, Ill., in 1930. He was an avid reader and world trav­eler. A grad­u­ate of Bradley Univer­sity and an Ea­gle Scout, Mr. Van­der­wa­ter served in the United States Army and was a Korean War vet­eran. Mr. Van­der­wa­ter worked at Litho­nia Light­ing for 33 years and re­tired as se­nior vice pres­i­dent of Fi­nance and Ad­min­is­tra­tion. He was a mem­ber of Shiloh United Methodist Church and was a lov­ing hus­band, fa­ther and grand­fa­ther and will be missed by all.

Sur­viv­ing are wife of 27 years Van Van­der­wa­ter; sis­ters Mar­i­lyn Earp of Del­tona, Fla., Lor­raine Conroy of Men­dota, Ill.; brother Robert Van­der­wa­ter of Hous­ton, Texas; chil­dren Shirley Barnes of La­Grange, Diane Busha of Canon, Mike Van­der­wa­ter of Ge­or­gia, Terry Van­der­wa­ter of Cov­ing­ton, Cary Van­der­wa­ter, Dewey Rose of Ge­or­gia, Me­lanie Miller of Cony­ers, Dr. Lisa Miller of Cov­ing­ton, Ginger Blair of In­di­alan­tic, Fla.; grand­chil­dren Rhonda Grimes, Crys­tal Messer, Pa­trick Duffy, Ge­orge Moon, Gary Van­der­wa­ter, Michael Van­der­wa­ter, Amy Van­der­wa­ter, Brit­tany Van­der­wa­ter, Ni­cholas Van­der­wa­ter, Jackie Mose­ley, Scott War­ren, Anna War­ren, Gra­cie Miller, Kelsey Blair, Shelby Blair; nine great-grand­chil­dren; nu­mer­ous cousins.

The fam­ily will re­ceive friends at the funeral home to­day, Aug. 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral ser­vices will be held Satur­day, Aug. 11, at 11 a.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Cov­ing­ton, with the Rev. Mike Nick­olich and the Rev. David Wil­son of­fi­ci­at­ing. En­tomb­ment will fol­low at Me­mory Chapel Mau­soleum, Lawn­wood Me­mo­rial Park.
