Ge­orge L. Har­ring­ton

David­son Funeral Home

Topeka, Kansas Ge­orge L. Har­ring­ton, 37, of Topeka, Kansas, died Aug. 16 at Mid­land Hospice. The son of Ge­orge and Frances (Mayo) Har­ring­ton, he was born in 1970 in La­Grange. He lived in La­Grange and Pine Moun­tain and later moved to Lanett, Ala., where he grad­u­ated from high school. Mr. Har­ring­ton moved to Topeka at age 19. He worked at the Shawnee County De­part­ment of Rev­enue and later WalMart. Mr. Har­ring­ton was a mem­ber of the Faith Fam­ily Life Cen­ter and Chris­tian Mo­tor­cy­cle As­so­ci­a­tion, Heaven on Wheels Chap­ter. He will be re­mem­bered for his love of peo­ple, his habit of greet­ing peo­ple with hugs, his abil­ity to eat and his goofy smile.

Sur­viv­ing are mother Frances Mitchell of Topeka; brothers Thomas Har­ring­ton, Sam Har­ring­ton, Jim Har­ring­ton, all of Cov­ing­ton; sis­ters Jan­ice Har­ring­ton, Tammy Elling­ton (Eric) of Cov­ing­ton; un­cle and aunt the Rev. Don and Louise Gar­ner of Topeka; nieces, neph­ews and cousins.

Mr. Har­ring­ton was cre­mated. A me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 20 at Faith Fam­ily Life Cen­ter, 3710 N. Topeka Blvd. Me­mo­rial con­tri­bu­tions may be made to Mid­land Hospice in care of David­son Funeral Home.

Linda Chris­tian Wa­ters

Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel Linda Chris­tian Wa­ters passed away re­cently in Cedar Hill, Texas. Sur­viv­ing are hus­band Brian Wa­ters of Cedar Hill; mother Jessie Nell Chris­tian; sis­ter Carol Daniel; and brother Mark Chris­tian, all of Por­terdale.

A grave­side ser­vice was held Aug. 11 at For­est Lawn Ceme­tery.
