Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Nov. 20 at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Mansfield, with the Rev. Benjamin Franklin officiating. Interment followed at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Newborn. grandson Justin T. Jones of Jupiter, Fla.; sisters Geraldine Ellington of Oxford, Annie Lois Bliss of Wheeling, W.Va.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, in the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, with Dr. Al Myers officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 23. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Conyers Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 911 Main St., Conyers 30012. School, Madison. He married Ms. Gussie Mae Hill in 1929. Mr. Williams joined Knox Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in 1952 and was ordained as a deacon in 1955. He served as chairman of the deacons for 21 years and was a member of the Male Choir. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife and son Mr. Freddie Williams Jr.
Surviving are children Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Ruby Nell) Jackson, Mr. Roy L. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Williams, Mr. Thelma Williams, the Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Williams; sister Mrs. Josephine Williams; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at noon Nov. 17 at Knox Chapel Baptist Church, Social Circle, with the Rev. Joseph Williams officiating. Interment followed at Union Spring Cemetery, Rutledge.
