Christo­pher Lee Parker

Mr. Christo­pher Lee Parker, 30, of Blairsville, for­merly of Cov­ing­ton, died Nov. 24 at St. Joseph’s Hospi­tal fol­low­ing an ex­tended ill­ness. The son of Ed Parker and Mary Moody Parker, he was born in 1977 in Cov­ing­ton. Mr. Parker loved com­put­ers, fish­ing and his pet dog Ticky. He was lov­ing and car­ing to his fam­ily, es­pe­cially his nieces and neph­ews. Mr. Parker will be greatly missed by his fam­ily and those who knew him. He was of the Chris­tian faith.

Sur­viv­ing are fa­ther and mother Ed and Mary Parker of Blairsville; sis­ter and brother- in- law Tammy and the Rev. Wade Free­man of Cov­ing­ton; brother and sis­ter- in- law Ed and Grace Parker III of Peachtree City; un­cle and aunt Bill and Shirley Moody of Cov­ing­ton; nieces and neph­ews Am­ber and Ash­ley Free­man, Joshua Parker, Matthew Camp­bell, Sarah and Dani Parker; sev­eral cousins; many other rel­a­tives and friends.

A me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at 2 p. m. Satur­day, Dec. 1, from Cross­roads Bap­tist Church, Cov­ing­ton, with the Rev. Wade Free­man of­fi­ci­at­ing. In lieu of flow­ers, the fam­ily re­quests that memo­ri­als be made to the Spina Bi­fada Or­ga­ni­za­tion in Mr. Parker’s me­mory.
