Ida Neal Ter­rell

Mrs. Ida Neal Ter­rell died Jan. 26. The daugh­ter of the late Mrs. Izola Gaither Wil­liams, she was born in Mansfield. At an early age she joined Jerusalem which is now Mt. Zion A. M. E. Church, Mansfield. She loved go­ing to the New­ton County Se­nior Ser­vice, where she had many friends. She en­joyed all kinds of ac­tiv­i­ties and trav­el­ing. She was a wo­man of wis­dom and knowl­edge. Ev­ery­one she met loved her. Mrs. Ter­rell was pre­ceded in death by hus­band Mr. Gabe ( Tot) Ter­rell; son Mr. Grady Ter­rell, two sis­ters and two brothers.

Sur­viv­ing are sons Mr. and Mrs. Henry ( An­nie) Ter­rell, Mr. Charles Ter­rell, Mr. and Mrs. Wil­lie ( Lucy) Ter­rell, Mr. Johnny Ter­rell, Mr. Robert Ter­rell; 23 grand­chil­dren; 45 great- grand­chil­dren; 21 great- great- grand­chil­dren, all of Cov­ing­ton; a host of nieces, neph­ews, other rel­a­tives and friends.

Funeral ser­vices were held Jan. 31 at Mt. Zion A. M. E. Church, Mansfield, with the Rev. Ben­jamin Franklin of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment fol­lowed at Po­plar Hill A. M. E. Ceme­tery, Mansfield.
