Viola Little, 84, of Covington, died peacefully at her home Feb. 13. The daughter of the late Robert and Fathia Webb Tucker, she was born in Berrien County and had been a resident of Covington for the past 12 years.
She was an active member of Mt. Paran Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Little loved life and was an excellent cook, best known for her fried chicken, creamed corn, ice tea and pumpkin pie.
Surviving are son and daughter- in- law Jimmy and Renita Little of Covington; grandchildren Dani and Phillip McSwain, Susan and Wayne Chambers, Doug and Stephanie Little, Crystal and Randy Davis; 15 great- grandchildren; two great- great- grandchildren; sisters and brother- in- law Janie and Arnold Brogdon of Alphha, Lillie Solomon of Tifton; brothers and sisters- in- law Richard Tucker of Ocilla, Bud Tucker, Frank and Sandra Tucker, Robert and Mary Tucker, Nelson and Lucy tucker, all of Alapaha, Hollis and Rubilynn Tucker of pace, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p. m. today, Feb. 15, in the Access Road chapel of Caldwell & Cowan with the Rev. Justin Hiens officiating. Interment will follow at High Point Baptist Cemetery.
