Mickey and Susan Gerstman of Rus­sel­lville, Ala., an­nounce the en­gage­ment of forth­com­ing mar­riage of their daugh­ter Lind­say Brooke Gerstman to Michael Brent Al­mond, son of Terry and Sherry Al­mond of Cov­ing­ton.

The bride-elect is the grand­daugh­ter of the late Joseph and Terra Mae Gerstman of Boaz and the late Robert F. and Ethe­lene Crow­der of Rus­sel­lville. She is a grad­u­ate of Rus­sel­lville High School, at­tended the Univer­sity of North Alabama where she was a mem­ber of Al­pha Gamma Delta and a grad­u­ate of Auburn Univer­sity with a doc­tor­ate of phar­macy. She is cur­rently em­ployed as a phar­ma­cist at CVS, Birm­ing­ham.

The fu­ture groom is the grand­son of the late Lewis and Berta McEl­reath of Cov­ing­ton and Nathan and Sy­bil Mont­gomery of Mansfield. He is a grad­u­ate of New­ton County High School and the Univer­sity of Ge­or­gia with a Bach­e­lor of Science in crim­i­nal jus­tice. He is em­ployed as an ac­count ex­ec­u­tive with Gen­tiva in Birm­ing­ham.

The wed­ding will be at 6 p.m., March 29, at First Bap­tist Church, Rus­sel­lville with the Rev. Richard Parker of­fi­ci­at­ing. A re­cep­tion will be held at Lo­cust Hill in Tuscumbia.
