AARP 55 Alive Driver Program
AARP will offer a classroom setting driver safety program from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Feb. 23 and March 1 at Allen Memorial United Methodist Church, Lovern Fellowship Hall. Two 4-hour sessions are required, and cost is $10. Completion of the course may entitle you to apply for up to a 10 percent reduction on automobile insurance. For information, call (770) 786-7414.
Red Oak Barbecue & Brunswick Stew

Forum on Diabetes
Bethlehem Baptist Church, 2177 Usher Street, will host a forum on diabetes from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with registration from 9 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. there will be information on nutrition, fitness, diabetes, caregivers and juvenile diabetes. African-American History Festival
One Voice will sponsor an African American History Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Newton County High School Porter Memorial Auditorium. The public is invited.
