Thomas Howard Parham III

Mr. Thomas Howard “ Tommy” Parham III, 60, of Ox­ford died Thurs­day, Feb. 28. Mr. Parham was born Au­gust 14, 1947 in Bibb County to the late Thomas Howard Parham, Jr., and Dorothy Re­becca LaFavre Parham. He was a long­time res­i­dent of New­ton County, at­tended Red Oak United Methodist Church, served in the U. S. Army dur­ing Viet­nam and was a Boy Scout leader.

Mr. Parham is sur­vived by his daugh­ter and son- in- law, Marie and Lee Hol­lis of Ox­ford, son Thomas Parham IV of Cov­ing­ton, grand­chil­dren Thomas Parham V and Cheyenne Maxwell. Also sur­viv­ing Mr. Parham are his sis­ters and brothers- in­law Kay and Jim Starkey of Ma­ri­etta, Deb­o­rah and Jerry Wall of Warner Robins and four neph­ews.

Grave­side ser­vices for Mr. Parham will be held to­mor­row at 1 p. m. at Lawn­wood Me­mo­rial Park with the Rev. Tom Ro­driguez of­fi­ci­at­ing. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends at the funeral home to­day from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m.
