Georgia star Humphrey makes fourth All-SEC team
ATHENS— Georgia’s Tasha Humphreywas named to the AllSoutheastern Conference team picked by the coaches for the fourth year in a rowMonday, becoming just the ninth player to complete such a sweep.
Ashley Houtswas selected to the second team, while Angela Puleo made the All-SEC freshman team.
The 6-foot-3 Humphrey leads the Lady Bulldogs in scoring (17.3 points a game) and rebounding (9.1) for the fourth consecutive season. The only other player to do that at Georgiawas Janet Harris, who coincidentallywas the first four-time member of the all-conference team.
Houtswas the SEC freshman of the year last season. She is averaging 11.7 points and leads the Lady Bulldogs in assists (4.6) and steals (2.8).
Puleo is averaging 8.4 points per game. She leads Georgia and ranks eighth in the SEC in 3-pointers at 1.66 per game.
