Ge­or­gia star Humphrey makes fourth All-SEC team

ATHENS— Ge­or­gia’s Tasha Humphrey­was named to the Al­lSouth­east­ern Con­fer­ence team picked by the coaches for the fourth year in a rowMon­day, be­com­ing just the ninth player to com­plete such a sweep.

Ash­ley Houtswas se­lected to the sec­ond team, while An­gela Puleo made the All-SEC fresh­man team.

The 6-foot-3 Humphrey leads the Lady Bull­dogs in scor­ing (17.3 points a game) and re­bound­ing (9.1) for the fourth con­sec­u­tive sea­son. The only other player to do that at Ge­or­giawas Janet Har­ris, who co­in­ci­den­tal­ly­was the first four-time mem­ber of the all-con­fer­ence team.

Houtswas the SEC fresh­man of the year last sea­son. She is av­er­ag­ing 11.7 points and leads the Lady Bull­dogs in as­sists (4.6) and steals (2.8).

Puleo is av­er­ag­ing 8.4 points per game. She leads Ge­or­gia and ranks eighth in the SEC in 3-point­ers at 1.66 per game.
