Teddy W. Hal­lum

Teddy W. Hal­lum, 73, of New­born, died April 9. For­merly of At­lanta, he had been a res­i­dent of New­born for 36 years. Mr. Hal­lum at­tended Stet­son Univer­sity, was a grad­u­ate of Ge­or­gia Tech with a de­gree in chem­i­cal en­gi­neer­ing and was a for­mer em­ployee of FDIC. He was a mem­ber of Free Will Chapel Bap­tist Church, Scottsmoor, Fla., was an avid sports fan and en­joyed fish­ing and lis­ten­ing to gospel mu­sic.

Sur­viv­ing are sis­ter Se­lena V. La­Mar of New­born, brother Les­lie Howard ( L. H.) Hal­lam of Scottsmoor and three nieces and three neph­ews.

Grave­side ser­vices will be held at 3 p. m. Satur­day, April 12, at Col­well Bap­tist Church Ceme­tery, Blue Ridge, with the Rev. Glen Col­lis of­fi­ci­at­ing. The fam­ily will re­ceive friends at Aikins Funeral Home, 7871 Blue Ridge Dr., Blue Ridge, Satur­day, April 12, from noon to 2 p. m.
