Food Drive for Community Food Pantry
The Newton County Ministers’ Union Youth Department is sponsoring a countywide food drive for the Community Pantry, ending May 17, from 10 a. m. to 3 p. m. at the Community Food Pantry, 7125 Turner Lake Circle. First Methodist Preschool Enrollment
First United Methodist Church of Covington has preschool openings for the 2008- 2009 school years. The program provides children with learning experiences to prepare them for school while teaching them about the love of God. Classes are from 6 months through pre- K. First United Methodist Church
The people of First United Methodist Church of Covington, 1113 Conyers St., welcome everyone to come and worship at 8: 30 a. m. and 11 a. m. on Sundays. Sunday school classes are available for ages 3 years to senior adults at 9: 45 a. m. Nursery is provided for all services.
