Food Drive for Com­mu­nity Food Pantry

The New­ton County Min­is­ters’ Union Youth De­part­ment is spon­sor­ing a countywide food drive for the Com­mu­nity Pantry, end­ing May 17, from 10 a. m. to 3 p. m. at the Com­mu­nity Food Pantry, 7125 Turner Lake Cir­cle. First Methodist Preschool En­roll­ment

First United Methodist Church of Cov­ing­ton has preschool open­ings for the 2008- 2009 school years. The pro­gram pro­vides chil­dren with learn­ing ex­pe­ri­ences to pre­pare them for school while teach­ing them about the love of God. Classes are from 6 months through pre- K. 12 Step Re­cov­ery Pro­gram

First United Methodist Church

The peo­ple of First United Methodist Church of Cov­ing­ton, 1113 Cony­ers St., wel­come ev­ery­one to come and wor­ship at 8: 30 a. m. and 11 a. m. on Sun­days. Sun­day school classes are avail­able for ages 3 years to se­nior adults at 9: 45 a. m. Nurs­ery is pro­vided for all ser­vices.
