Wedding Rachel Gibbs and Marshall Mason
Rachel Gibbs of Pooler and Marshall Mason of Statesboro were married Dec. 29 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Savannah, with Father Rick Buechner of Thomasville officiating.
The bride is the daughter of David Gibbs of Morristown, Tenn., and Cynthia Kavouklis of Thomasville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Gibbs of Florence, S.C., and Elaine Kavouklis of Thomasville.
The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Alton Mason and Mr. & Mrs. Bobby Knight, all of Covington. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Mason, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Loyd and Kathryn Spell, all of Covington.
The bride was given in marriage by her father David Gibbs and her maid of honor was Leah Gibbs of Statesboro, sister of the bride. Serving as brides maids were Megan Allen of New York, Kelcy Faulk of Statesboro, Brennan Fenlon of New York, Katie Galloway ofSt. Petersburg, Fla., Julie Inman of Athens and Jane Wilder of New York.
Serving as best man was Alton Mason, father of groom. Groomsmen were Lawrence Mason of Covington, Craig Castleberry of Covington, Lester Castleberry of Covington, Jay Galletta of Statesboro, Chris Mason of Nashville, Tenn., and Eric Spell of Atlanta.
The reception was held at the Harbor View Room at the Savannah Hilton DeSoto. The couple honeymooned at Lake Tahoe, Calif., and now reside in Knoxville, Tenn.
