Wed­ding Rachel Gibbs and Mar­shall Ma­son

Rachel Gibbs of Pooler and Mar­shall Ma­son of States­boro were mar­ried Dec. 29 at St. John’s Epis­co­pal Church, Savannah, with Fa­ther Rick Buech­ner of Thomasville of­fi­ci­at­ing.

The bride is the daugh­ter of David Gibbs of Mor­ris­town, Tenn., and Cyn­thia Kavouk­lis of Thomasville. She is the grand­daugh­ter of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Gibbs of Florence, S.C., and Elaine Kavouk­lis of Thomasville.

The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Al­ton Ma­son and Mr. & Mrs. Bobby Knight, all of Cov­ing­ton. He is the grand­son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ma­son, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Loyd and Kathryn Spell, all of Cov­ing­ton.

The bride was given in mar­riage by her fa­ther David Gibbs and her maid of honor was Leah Gibbs of States­boro, sis­ter of the bride. Serv­ing as brides maids were Me­gan Allen of New York, Kelcy Faulk of States­boro, Bren­nan Fen­lon of New York, Katie Gal­loway ofSt. Petersburg, Fla., Julie In­man of Athens and Jane Wilder of New York.

Serv­ing as best man was Al­ton Ma­son, fa­ther of groom. Grooms­men were Lawrence Ma­son of Cov­ing­ton, Craig Castle­berry of Cov­ing­ton, Lester Castle­berry of Cov­ing­ton, Jay Gal­letta of States­boro, Chris Ma­son of Nashville, Tenn., and Eric Spell of At­lanta.

The re­cep­tion was held at the Har­bor View Room at the Savannah Hil­ton DeSoto. The cou­ple hon­ey­mooned at Lake Ta­hoe, Calif., and now re­side in Knoxville, Tenn.
